You may not be totally correct. I did my passport renewal online with less than 18k, and I never regretted it. It depends on the state and how soon the person needs the passport. Immigration officers feed on desperate applicants. I knew I would need my passport in September so I applied and captured in June and got it in August.

Nigerians have the habit of this fire brigade approach. Sometimes it baffles me when I see people applying for visa for fall intake in June/July/August with this snail pace IRCC processes applications, quoting all scriptures to back it up. Yes you may get it but the chances are very slim and you may even end up making avoidable mistakes.

If you want to apply for your passport online, please do but if you have excess bucks to give for fast track, you can also do as well

I understand you but it's very risky to apply online cos of time, 6months you may still be waiting. Generally, I will never advice anybody to do it online.

Yes. Your bags arrive in Ontario, and sent via UPS to other parts of Canada.

This is quite interesting @Ketima.

Please has anyone on this forum gotten such request from IRCC for multiple TRV applications? Kindly share how you went about withdrawing the visit visa request? Also can I apply for my spouse's SOWP from my profile on which i obtained my student's visa?

Please assist with a response, I''m quite new here but have seen interesting and helpful conversations.

Ketima:

Hello, as you're already in Canada, please Kindly reach out to your MP by phone or walk in at visitation time and table your concern. He or she will gladly help you. But aside that, note it that both work permit and visit are temporary visas of which you're not supposed to have 2 temporary visas running concurrently.

You can apply for SOWP for your spouse. IRCC may likely ask you to withdraw your spouse visiting visa application for onward assessment and approval of your spouse work permit.

All the best

Hi I'm so sorry about this
I'm also waiting for a final decision on my application
You can send me a message on WhatsApp if you'd like us to talk more

You are waiting for your decision? And you dropped your number here asking asking to let you talk more?

Can't you just explain what you want to tell him here or dm him if you are truly sincerely with the 18 year old dude?

The guy he is replying to asked for someone to talk to seeing that he is depressed and considering suicide… he also dropped his number.. So I don’t think the talk is visa related. Just to make him feel better

Good evening everyone.

The MP of Ottawa just finished contacting IRCC on my behalf. This is the reply.

However, my school’s deadline for withdrawal is 30 September and the last day I must be in school is 20th September.

What do I do please? I have paid tuition fee and I must request for a refund on or before 30th September.

Does study permit visa last for a year, I want to know if I can reapply for next year September admission

I’ve never been so confused all my life

olutoyiin:
Hi, my people I was able to reach the Mp and he got back to me, that my medicals and criminality passed. No information on my eligibility; I guess eligibility is yet to start. Though he said that according to the timelines for processing, I should be expecting a decision Mid-september.

It is well,
Thank you all for the assist.

hi
No you won't be able to use this ppr for a new school you would have to reapply and start afresh, so the options you have are to either wait for this study permit when you get it you reapply to that same school next year since it's the same dli number that will be on this study permit

Or you apply to a new school for January intake and pray you get admission asap so you can quickly update it on your ircc account before your study permit is approved

Once your study permit is approved and you want to change schools which is a change of Dli and you're still I'm Nigeria you would have to reapply for study permit

I dunno if I explained clear enough

Thanks for the Response , What about if he decides to inform the school to Defer his admission to next year Fall of September and the school agrees , Then he eventually gets his Visa Approval later maybe November. Does that means The Visa Approval will still be Valid till the next year Fall of September. Then he can travel Right ? If Yes will he have to Inform IRCC of anything?

Also what about if the school Isn't able to defer his admission to next year Fall of September and he eventually gets his Visa Approval later maybe November. Can he Re-Apply to the school for the fall intake of 2023 ? If he gets admitted to the school , can he then travel September without any problem ?
I don't know if you understand my Question but I'll await your Response.

Thanks

Eligibility passed. That means your PPR is sure. You can defer to Sept 2023. Your study permit will still be valid by then.

I don't think withdrawing your school fees at this point will affect IRCC's decision. If eligibility is passed, means they've gone past the stage of contacting your school.
