Almost every time we pressed their defenders they simply passed it back to their keeper who then launched accurate mid and long range passes to their full backs on the touchline.

Almost every time they pressed our defenders DDG had to hoof the ball aimlessly away. There are multiple issues with the outfield players but we will never become a dominant possession team if our keeper is so so limited at passing.

I think you should watch more matches.

They're playing 36 year old James Milner, 19 year old Harvey Elliot with either Fabinho or Henderson depending on who's fit. Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago and Keita have all been injured for many periods already.

ETH plays narrow wingers and wide full backs unlike Pep who prefers wide wingers and narrow full backs. However i think the main problem is that we don't move the ball quickly enough. If ball movement is slow opposition defenders will close down the winger easily.
