Moreover I have no interest in whatever you represent, my loyalty ends in my state anambra and Nigeria. Other rubbish is secondary. |

Ndibunna:U can imagine a statement from a stark illiterate like you, if she I s not worthy to teach in that university, they would not even employ her. Take your hate elsewhere as she far far more educated and respected than your entire generation. |

SIRTee15:I agree with u on this. She really went overboard. But i think her main reason for the tweet isn't because of the colonial rule of 60+years ago. It's due to the fact that biafra wanted to break free and the british opposed them even leading to deaths of several people. Where as insurrection isn't exactly a crime or atleast a crime worthy of death.

Peacecore: In that case, why not tolerate religious intolerance which usually becomes extreme and violent. There is freedom of expression, but it doesn't mean every nonsense is permissible. |

Re: Why Uju Anya Shouldn't Be Fired By Carnegie Mellon University. by BluntTheApostle(m): 6:13pm On Sep 15, 2022 |
Peacecore: That is not my point. My point is that people should be criticized if they abuse their freedom of expression. Just like we criticize people who exhibit religious or tribal intolerance. The professor's hateful words are condemnable. Asking someone to die a painful death because she became monarch in the quarter end of British colonialism? |
Re: Why Uju Anya Shouldn't Be Fired By Carnegie Mellon University. by Peacecore: 7:26pm On Sep 15, 2022 |
BluntTheApostle:What if she percieves the monarch to had done things wrong? Won't she be criticised? You may have exonerated her of every evil but the woman may not have, hence her outburst. |
