What was your first Masters in? So let's assume your first masters was in Cybersecurity, if you apply to do another Masters in Network Security, it would be seen as similar masters and you will be rejected but if you are able to correlate both courses together and convince them that doing the second masters would be a progression in your career, it may fly.

First masters was in advertising and marketing management now i want to do MBA.

Please how are people able to book Qatar using a Nigeria card? It seems not to be working. Or how can I book on hold and pay inside the bank? This is giving me serious issue now
the fastest way to get your ticket is if you are in Lagos.. you make the booking and choose the book onhold option for 48 hrs then go to their VI office to make payment. You will get ticket almost immediately
If not in Lagos, then also book on hold for 48-72 hours and make transfer to their GTB naira account, then send proof of payment to the lagos reservation email as well as the doha email. Then u also have to call them to inform them about the paymnet so they can work on your ticket. Check the thread for the complete email addresses.
I do not fancy the second option from friday to sunday as their phone lines in Lagos always seem to be unresponsive during the weekends. It can be very annoying if you have paid and to then sit through a whole weekend with no one to talk to nor any ticket
3rd option- note the flight date u like and go on wakanow, travelbeta and travelstart and buy from them.. note with this option if u have any chnages to make to ur ticket u will be at d mercy of the travel agencies

Most schools will start issuing CAS in October for January intake.

Best to reach your school to know when they'll commence.
Cheers.

Trust everyone is having a nice day, I've read that it's possible to pay a part of the fees for a masters program and on or before completion, you pay the rest. I plan on moving with my spouse as a dependent, if I'll be paying a part of the fees, how much should I budget for the fees, accommodation, feeding, upkeep and other expenses. Thanks..

Expenses depend on your tuition, deposit amount, city and type of housing you're seeking.

Different schools have different deposit requirements and the city you're going to will determine your required maintenance funds.

Settle all these then find out the approximate total expenses you'll be making

Thanks for your response. I am only worried that without my masters, the study gap will be more than 10years. And i will also have to declare it on my visa application. So am really confused.

Okay. Now it is clear. Work experience could also suffice if you have working experience.

While it is an intellectual community of like minds where people give information, you also need to have done some homework before coming here using Google or this timeline.

Read through the list given on different pages on this forum or search using this NL forum search . You will see a list of Unis with January admission.

Birbeck, Portsmouth, Angelia Ruskin, Essex, Surrey, Sheffield Hallam, Bradford, Sunderland, Bournemouth, Creative Art, Northampton, Northumbria, Southampton SOlent, West Wales, East London, GCU, Robert Gordon are a list of some Unis with January 2023 intake.

Put the Uni names on google and search for the course you want on the Uni's postgraduate taught study section and you will see tuition fee. It varies for courses even across a Uni.

Best of luck.

Please I have an observation concerning my wife..She is a medical doctor here in Nigeria and she will be going with me as a dependent...She has written her ielts and plab 1 here also ...When we get to Uk can she apply for plab 2 and get to be a licensed doctor over there...Hope she being a dependent to me won’t affect anything...Because it’s like there are certain restrictions to the kind of job a dependent can do ...Hope this won’t affect her.
Dependents can’t take all this job Doctor,Dentist in training or a professional sports person or entertainer..

I understand and agree with you.

With that detailed DIY response, I believe he would have learnt the right way to go. Read, Research, read from different source again and when you don't understand, then you can ask.

I learnt a lot from this forum by reading responses at day and night even till now.

Hello everyone,
I had to repost because of the rate of comment here.

Please I need your guidance. I have truly gone what I can go through especially the guidelines on the page thoroughly.
I have been able to secure admission as I have earlier posted. I am trying to make the actual basic financial calculations as the main work process begins now from school fees deposit to general POF.
Here are my questions, please help a brother:

1. Can I solely use my Uncle's bank statement who is living in the UK as POF for both the school requirement before issuing CAS and in the Visa office here in Nigeria for the MA and 2 dependants. How do I proof we are family with my Uncle. What documents do we need if possible?

2. In calculating POF for the dependants (wife and 2 years old daughter) for outside London, is the calculation below correct
£680 x 9 months x 2 = £12,240
My concern is will I still use the same calculation for the mother also for the 2 year old child?

3. In applying for Visa, will the calculation for the visa fee for the MA and the 2 dependants be £490 x 3 = £1,470

Thank you.

Yea so that Marketing management part may have been seen as part of the proposed MBA curriculum, it won't fly. Look for something different or you apply without the Masters.

This has been said a million times .. you can only use your account or your parents . Uncle is a big fat no

for no 2. You have to follow UKVI guidance and they decided to treat all dependants equally. Even a one day old baby will be the same amount

Hello

Please don't conceal your UK degree

Try to make the efforts to convince your Uni that the new Masters is a progression.

You could argue how this is crucial in progressing or redirecting your career, it should be something that will boost your current work experiences/skills/knowledge and/or needed for a critical position you aim to achieve

Thoughts within that line

Cheers

Hello

No

Technically top up compliments undergrad degree and it's usually at a level 5

You should be able to do so when you switch to your masters degree

Hello

You have to pay a deposit to secure your admission.

Although most Uni have an installment plan you are expected to show you have complete tuition funds before your visa is issued.

If you break the installment plan in place should you decide to go that route, you could be refused access to your studies, withdrawn and possibly reported to UKVI for deportation

The end

Cheers
