I am not a first timer. It is actually a family of 4 application. I was in the UK in 2019, but my wife and kids last was in 2014. I had also lived and studied over there. I applied for longer years to circumvent the hassles of application process for sometime. Thank you.

Hi ,please advice I have exam in the Uk upper week and I applied for standard visitor visa ,is it possible to cancel and apply for super priority .
My exam is crucial and I have waited 8 weeks for standard visitor visa no decision and have also escalated ,same story

How long does it take to retrieve passport ?

Nobody can really tell you how long it might take, any suggestion is mere speculation, everything seems to be currently upside down with UKVI.

But, just be hopeful you mighy even get your Visa before your expected travel date.

One of the mistakes we self employed applicants make, is to quote high earnings. This is a big trap, because you will have to defend it. This is why its easier for those working for companies to get visa than self employed. The moment you present yourself as a self employed person, the attention of the ECO moves from your personal account to your business account.

Their aim is to find out if that your business makes enough money to pay the salary you claim to earn. So for someone that earns N5,000,000 annually, it will be expected that your company account will show a turnover of over at least N30,000,000.

Now that you have said your earn N5,000,000, These are the 2 things you must do to get the visa.

1) Audit your business account to show expenses and profit. Present both audit report and bank statement of your company.

2) You will have to pay a progressive tax for 3 years to match your annual income. When you have done this, you will now be issued tax clearance certificate.

When your present the 2 and they are convinced that your business generates enough money, you will have your visa.

Failure to do this, will result in another refusal. But if you do as i have said, you are sure of getting it the next time.

Hello. Booked an appointment since Monday for next week Thursday. Checked today and saw some earlier appointments. Click on the earlier appointment but changed my mind. I don’t see the old appointment there anymore. Has anyone experienced this?

If your kids were born after he acquired British citizenship, then they are automatically citizens. Their father just need to push their documentation and get them the British passport. As advised earlier by someone else, discuss with their father, if not for you own benefit but for the children.

Though i cant travel Now except December, but i need to get the passport to make flight reservations.

I am not able to call and even trying to send paid mail I keep getting payment failed while for call the numbers were not connecting at all.

I'm to apply for UK work visa with sponsorship (I have CoS), but my wife and kid's passport is taking time and from the application I have to put wife's passport number on mine so that she and the kid can apply as dependants.

I want to ask what is the possibility applying for mine alone and travelling (because I have to resume by 1st November) and they come and join me later.

On the application if I select that wife is not travelling with me, it will remove the option of including her passport number, but I fear this may affect her application later.

Anyone with similar experience?

it wont. Plans change. When she and the kid(s) are applying they’ll use your COS and either your UAN, GWF, vignettet or brp number to link all of you.

Not all categories of visas. General visitor visas don't come with BRP

Hello everyone. Please guys I need your advice.

After 4 months of waiting, I have decided to call for my family passport. Me,my wife and 5 years old daughter.

I did my biometric on 18th of May, till this moment nothing from them.

I think 4 months is enough for them to treat our applications for 6 month visitor visa. Though we are first timer but 4 months is highly ridiculous.
