I'm really looking forward to our bredas playing Brazil today..
Ever since they qualified for the world cup and gotten some of their foreign born to the team, their confidence is on cloud 9.
I'd like to see how they will perform against a formidable Brazil team...

. Another lamba .. just like the"Marko" gaffe

You have already been over taken be events and you are operating in past.

I made a mix up with AFCON and World Cup qualifiers which I've already a few pages ago, corrected.

You are now clutching at straws , how many years ago did we talk about Marko, a players I had watched in 2018 playing for the U23's at Liverpool with an atrocious attitude. And it was made clear to me then he was never going to play for the first team.

My opinion remains the same.

Onyedika, Alhassan, Tijani will not make the Arsenal bench in the HERE and NOW. If that's what you call false hood then you need to go back to school.

I noticed said Bundisliga and didn't qualify it with Austrain Bundisliga.

These are just minor omissions that could be considered ambiguous but FALSE absolutely not.

They are not material or pertinent to the main subject which is simply these players are not good enough for Arsenals midfield.

No Aribo. No Ndidi.

They left out Alhassan who was initially on the list before being removed. ROYAL ANTWERP WERE SHOCKED!

'Left out Nwakali who's tactically and technically better plus more in form than a benchwarmer we have in the team.

There's still Bonke (an actual DM although I dont rate him that high), there's still Tosin Kehinde who can be an option as CAM. There are Midfield choices to pick from out there.
These are some of the Lads we could give a chance mainly because they offer the team some added and in some cases, Upgraded tactical and technical value that can uplift the team.

We badly need midfielders but never trust idiots to understand this. And some of these idiots work in the NFF.

Philosopher1979:
Inviting alhassan yusuf and nwakali to the team is inevitable with ndidi injury and aribo being average.
We badly need midfielders. Its only a matter of time.

More lamba ..

From "Alhassan is playing in the Eredivise" to "Iwobi was dropped from the qualifiers for Nwakali"... You're obviously out of touch with reality which isn't surprising seeing as you don't care about football outside your comfort zone..
Even if you're talking about the AFCON proper, how was Iwobi dropped for Nwakali? The only game Nwakali played was the last group game against Guinea Bissau... Ndidi and Aribo were the first choice midfield pairings... I wonder what you said when the same Iwobi was dropped from our starting eleven at the last world cup..

And I repeat again, there's absolutely nothing special about arsenal bench that won't make Alhassan and Onyedika (nobody mentioned Nwakali) to sit on it.. A lot of crap players have sat on that bench....

But when you saw Onyekuru name on the list initially you said the big men in the NFF were responsible for it..
If you see Nwakali name in the next list,I hope you won't come and feed us with tales of how the new NFF regime collected bribes to include him in the team...

no matter what you can’t deny the fact that he is also Nigerian even if he has the ambition to play for England in the future

Saw some clips of the lad on YouTube and bobo dey ball no be small.

Very creative and sound technically. England has a big talent in their hands in the lad

He's Nigerian but Nigeria is not entitled to his talent. He is being developed by another nation, they must always have that right of first refusal.
It's like a sperm donor claiming ownership of a kid he birthed instead of the foster parents who did the actual parenting and raised the child.
The English reserves the right to first refusal. Go to our ghettos, you will see madly talented kids better than this guy who have no access to proper facilities, coaching and academy. The job of the NFA is to create an eco system to birth these talents.

Brazil is a tall order for them BUT...

...at least, Ghana's coach didn't invite JUST 4 MFs like ours. grin

Ghanaian FA didn't invite a midfielder and later told the MF's club that the invite has been cancelled because 4 MFs are enough... just like our NFF did.

Now One of the 4 is ruled out and that leaves Ghana with 2x the number of midfielders we have in camp.

Funny.

Have you found any gist anywhere as to why Alhassan was dropped from the team? The fact that he isn't even being talked about as a replacement for Ndidi who pulled out tells me that there's more to it...

As for the bredas (I no wan mention their names so as not to attract an army of banku eaters here), Dem go still collect..E sure me...

You are an Arsenal Fan. You must be excited. wink

Personally, I don't think we will get him unless ofcourse he somehow falls off the English interest radar. But he's just 15 and highly talented so I don't know and don't think we have a chance FOR NOW. Kid is already set on England as things stand.

Perhaps in the next 6 years we would know for sure if we can get him. And Half a dozen yrs is quite a while to be honest.

I agree 6yrs is a long time but trust the English to take care of him. He's also in a top5 academy in the world, his chances of failure is not so high.
Instead of hoping that he falls off the English radar so we get him, why can't the NFF develop a program on its own to develop our local boys here rotting away in the suburbs?

Iwobi and Nwakali were both benched at the Afcon even. How anyone thinks one was benched for the other at the Afcon is really misleading, funny and reeks of olodoism.
Means they never followed the Afcon.

Iwobi was dropped either to accommodate Iheanacho in the first XI or to accommodate Aribo as Ndidi's midfield partner. That was the scenario even.

Iwobi and Nwakali started ONLY one group game at the Afcon and it was the final game vs Guinea Bissau. Iwobi played wide while Nwakali played in the middle.

Iwobi played 145mins at the last Afcon.

While, Nwakali played 111mins.

So it is funny really.

About Arsenal's bench, even lads such as Amaury Bischoff have made that bench. Ever heard of him? My point exactly. grin

P.S: Lad is now in the 4th tier of France.
