The Nigerian military is receiving significant investment in all areas. Criminals, terrorists and enemies of the state are finding the country to be too hot to commit acts of terror against institutions of the state.

The Federal Government a couple of months back announced the procurement of the single largest purchase of armoured vehicles for the army.

We are yet to see the vehicles arrive, we are also yet to see the M346-FA aircrafts arrive, and terrorists are already fleeing Nigeria.

I just can't wait to see what happens when the full complement of hardware we are expecting arrives Nigeria.

Splitting hairs. Reserve Command elements fall under each of the specific services i.e. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines.
Same thing with the National Guard, with the exception of Navy and Marines, who do not have their own National Guard structures.
They're holiday soldiers. Go to base once a month. Deployments are rare. Until recently they were not even considered veterans.

I don't see much benefits in Nigeria acquiring these sizes of drones. Their maintenance costs will still level up with GA aircrafts and they cannot be operated beyond LOS unless a satellite is used. I'm quite sure Nigeria doesn't operate military satellites for such operations. It would be better they go for retrofitted GA aircrafts for ISR purposes. The diamond is there.

I've told them from farback days of oga beegs.
But they keep deluding themselves and come here to post rubbish with their south african blockhead sidekicks.

Instead of them to acknowledge that their beloved Nigerian army has a big problem.
12 years into a counterinsurgency on home soil, the army has not developed into the tip of the spear but instead keeps blundering from one crises to another. Like a bull in a China shop. It's a complete disgrace. Spits*** grin grin

The Nigerian Navy made an excellent choice with the AR-500B shipborne Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.

The UAV’s primary missions include maritime wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) and ship identification/acquisition.

Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI) is an airborne Optical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (OISR) data gathering system that combines multiple advanced sensors, cameras, and processors into one integrated unit
