Yes I've tried it in 3G mode and it's up to date. I believe it's because I upgraded the my miui. Some people are also complaining online and the solution seems is restoring factory settings according to some users. It is caused by bugs in the new update. I don't want to lose files that's why I'm scared of doing factory settings. If I can't downgrade to miui 12.5, I won't mind.
I would attach screenshot of other users complaining of same.

If it is a general issue then it should be fixed in the next update. Just report the issue to them.

It's a general issue, but I don't know how long it will take for the next upgrade. Will try and back up my files and reset tomorrow coz it's affecting me.

Security patch just dey rollout last week and you don't need to be worried about that.

try clearing your playstore data and cache, and restarting your device... and clear your pubg cache too...
