It's a big daddy (Camry '03).
It used to do that like once in 3/4 days, but for like 2 days now, it happened on each day work consecutively, but na once e dey happen on each day.
Once it happens like that, I would park and turn off the engine and wait for like 5-10 mins, then I start it and move and it will come back to normal (rectifies itself).
My suspicion has always been the transmission fluid, but the oil is well guaged and clean.

Much respect, bosses.

1. Low or dirty transmission fluid causing solenoids to malfunction

2. Transmission speed sensor intermittently failing

2. Gear selector cable loose or misaligned

I’m sure you have a check engine light on, scan the vehicle to pinpoint the exact location of your problem.

The Bitter Truth.

If you are a Driver you bought a car with the proceeds of this hustle like this post

If you are a Driver u got married with the proceed of this hustle like this post.

If you re a driver you can afford to send your kids to good school like this post.

If you are driver, you saved up and travel out of the country like this post

If you are a driver, u pay your rent conviently without skin pain like this post

If you are a driver, you have savings of ₦1 million above sitting in your account jejely without touch it like this post

If you are a driver you bought land with this hustle like this post

If you are a driver you built house with this hustle like this post.

If you a driver you set up profitable business with this hustle like this post.

If you re a driver you met your destiny helper on this hustle like this post.

If you re a driver you met your wife on this hustle, like this post.

If you are a driver, you have alot of investment from this hustle.

If you are a driver, you can afford not to work for one month without going Hungry like this post.

I can bet with my balls that 98% of drivers don't have these achievements. It's feeding, bills and bills......rat race year in year out

Stupid Corner44 who doesn't drive will come and be ranting like a mad cow.

A pig who doesn't know what is obtainable in this hustle will come here and open his maggot infested mouth and be saying jaggons

That dude needs a brain check

So, who's at fault? Driver or the hustle itself? How long have you been here? There's a guy here who's now based in Canny. It was on this same thread that we had people refer to BAZ001 as a lazy driver but you think he's still in 9ja? I was here when Felicity bought his Benz. He was called hoodlum driver at the time. It was still in this thread that CheerfulGiver(Antman) grossed over 900k in a month following his banter with Felicity. Are you saying Mr Pearl, Pope191, tojahh and some folks here ain't having loved ones whom they pay their bills? If you've been here for long, you'd see the good and the ugly.

Stop the generalizations. Assuming you didn't make it in e-hailing doesn't mean others won't. The fact is people have different attitude/character which determines the decisions they make. Some drivers are careless with money, others no dey give shi shi. Some are strategist, cherrypicking locations and time when they know there will riders while other drivers drive aimlessly.

Nobody is critical on marketing, so you have no right to backlash the efforts of others. Different strokes for different folks.

I am here to spark up brains that will do something more meaningful with their lives.

This Ehailing hustle, once you are stuck it is difficult to come out cos is the easiest way to make money. " Peanuts"

Brain dead idiotic hypocrite "Corner 44" is a greedy selfish ineffective baboon who had never driven on Ehailing platform is here to misguide people from taking up their destinies with their own hands. The rentals wey e dey collect from the toils and the sweat of those hard working drivers don sweet am die.

There are many betters ways to earn a living than risking your life on daily basis for peanuts. mental laziness is what entrapped so many.

This is where Emancipation comes in

This argument is endless but the truth is, a driver driving his own car and with good saving culture will make something tangible out of this business.

It should not be an all in all but it helps to provide quick capital or money for other things.

If the purpose it serves is paying the bills, then that's not bad. It's not everyone that's able to pay the bills. Even in America, most of them work their ass out just to be able to pay their bills.

Quick one;
You're on motion and all of a sudden, your car no gree enter gear again and your RPM just dey rise up dey go while your speedometer no gree align with the motion:
1) what should the driver do at that moment?
2) what causes regular occurrence of such?
3) what solution does it require?

Cc; pearl1910 and dem legends in here.

Much respect, bosses.

One of two things.

1. Your speedometer sensor
2. Your valve body.
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 11:21am On Sep 27, 2022

2. If the rpm goes up on its own revving, higher, it's probably the throttle cable that's packing up.

3. Park safely off the road, get a mech to check the throttle cable and change it.

What if it's an electric throttle body without cable

Your gearbox is about to give up. Good news is you can manage it like that for months. Whenever it happens, return the gear to neutral, then back to Drive. Prepare your mind for the inevitable(gearbox replacement.)I’m yet to see a competent gear mechanic in this country to recommend fixing the gear.

Scan for possible codes.
It's not about oil guaging... if the filter inside the gear is clogged d gear can malfunction.

If d problem stops when u restart ur engine then it is most likely an electrical problem.

Run a scan.
