let me shock you your son will not play for Nigeria if he is good enough that's the bitter truth

grin grin grin

Even George Weah only African to win world best player and the president of Liberia, not president of Liberian football association has his child playing for USA. We can teach our kids patriotism but then again who you are is not as much predicated by what your parents teach you, it's largely a factor of the wards internalization of the society you grow up in. That's why I always understand the Nigerian- Greek freak Gianni's Adetokumbo , that's why I can understand Inaki Williams and so many African first generation kids of migrants parentage.

The overriding truth is that we cannot deny them their rights too when they choose us as second options.

But what I will not tolerate is to choose your African nation as second option only to beneit your short time interest or goals, that's one reason I dissociate from the deeds of players like K.P Boateng of Ghana and Joël Matip who tried to force his way back to the Cameroonian squad after they qualified for the World Cup. I was so happy when Eto dismissed him and didn't consider him. It's one of those decisions Samuel Eto got right.

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

Na offers wey come na, it’s better to play for zamalek,al ahly, Orlando pirates, raja Casablanca, tp mazembe, ismaily, Kaiser chiefs,el merriekh etc than playing in Kosovo or Albania

Thank god for the internet when i started streaming those leagues because of some of our boys over there, most of stadiums they way bigger and are in better shape than theirs but them still better pass us in terms of exposure

Because they know their identity is bring up a talent and sell

he’s still young, money can’t be his motivating factor now, Junior Ajayi was a star in Egypt for long, I don’t even know where he is these days. If Nwakali keep up his form for a season or two he’ll end up in either laliga or at worse Belgium,Netherlands and the likes
yes he is but football career can end at any time via injuries

Jnr ajayi spent years with al ahly so bobo is fully loaded even if he decided to retire from football tomorrow

He’s done more than this with huesca what were the results being frozen and finding Himself in a worse team
he played laliga but then wasn’t good enough, he should give it another shot, he still has time now he can start chasing money when he’s closing in on 30 but for now he need to build his career

The moment you realized this is a job and should be treated as such

No player will find another job paying football wages after they’ve retired

Remember their lifestyle comes with a use cost

To mitigate this you have to have a brand or be signed to brand

None of this which he has now is the time to chase money

Because i think his time at SE is over

the higher you go the higher your pay, if he keep up his form and get a laliga team next season he’ll probably be on a salary zamalek can’t offer him. It’s different if he has played for a big team/league already and he decides to go and make money, like what Oscar and Hulk did

Oscar, tevez and hulk are set for life

You can’t play football forever

And there’s no job out here giving you $150k a week when you retired o

Like Andrew said you're over simplifying the issue.

Wages though a determinant is not the only way to judge a team's quality or lack thereof.

Everyone knows that teams in Spain outside the top 3/4 are financial lightweight so you can imagine how poorly paid teams in La Liga 2 are.

Compared to Championship clubs who enjoy huge financial windfalls. Most of the time they are able to buy a legion of players.

Look at Nottingham Forest for example despite buying almost 20 players during the transfer window the quality of their football is still dour.

I can bet the quality of La Liga 2 will still be decent quality in comparison to wages received.

Don't get me wrong Nwakali still has a long way to go in his career but sometimes learn to appreciate people's small beginnings. Didier Drogba and Jamie Vardy didn't enjoy the greatest starts to their respective careers but look at where they are now.

Nobody is saying you shouldn't give your honest opinions on a player but learn not to be absolute when judging how well a player will turn out.

agreed 100%

Nwakali is needed in the Super Eagles. If Iwobi gets injured who wil create play. Aribo is more 8 than 10.

Martinez commits unnecessary fouls. I don't really rate him. World Cup is different from Copa where they play rugby football. VAR dey!
Before Martinez moving to Man U, it was Romero pairing Otamendi at the heart of their defense and they played so countries with exceptional players without conceding, including Brazil at the Copa final.
I just mentioned Martinez because he plays for Man U, he might not bench Otamendi

There's no way his name will not pop out if we are to name 8-10 SE midfielders

Thars because there is blatant hypocritical shameless double standard that is prevakent here.

There was a time if l mentioned a Championship players so many would go up in arms. And scream bias and they are not good enough.

But here we are talking about a player who has done nothing of substance for 7 years
