I believe we are still saying the same tin, religion apart, then we are not bind by any law. With religion, we are bind by law but still break it because there's restitution. Transmission oil is not something to be changed every month regardless of what you use the vehicle for.

The recommended transmission oil for any vehicle is expensive, so it's not business wise to do. You are calling for trouble if you change the fluid every month.

You are right on this, but one think I realised about Honda? Civic in particular, their gear don't have sump like other cars, the filter is inside the transmission as well. So once it got clog up, it results to different manner of isues. One of the reason Honda transmission is sensitive and don't accept abuse.

Recommended oil is far from reach. The Honda dw 1 they sale to us is already killing your gear, unless you trust the dealer like Dru, which may go for 6k per liter.... but where are you going to find Dru now? Is another issue.

While we have to fall back to Oando Dextron lll, Mobile performance or Total Mvlv. The question is are these ATFs truly OK for transmission? Right now you can barely find Oando Dextron lll anywhere.

V6 for this job should be a no no. On the business side of this if I have 2.4 million to spend on car. I'll rather gear up to make it 3m. Go to Abuja and find 2 good civic. One for use and one for hp/ rental. Either way if you are not lazy and all factors being equal. I should be saving nothing less than 250k every month after expenses.

The ride is dope from appearance tho.

E go always dope for pictures until you see am physically, I will keep saying it most Nigerians don't know how to maintain car and they always sell thier cars anytime they can no longer deal the wahala.
And lastly the car is painted and it will be appealing to the eyes so due inspection needs to be carried out.

Every man with what is chasing him and what he's chasing. I personally won't do it cos I can't spend three years paying for hired purchase. Max 2 years. If possible and I have my way, it won't be up to 2 years. Plus it's a Corolla, I don't really fancy the car like that. For me, the time is too long. I'd rather go for a good used honda civic and pay maximum of 2.5m in total

Exactly what i told him. Personally i don't fancy corolla. I can't buy it with my money. I've used Honda civic before but i bought it from a wrong seller so i didn't enjoy it at all.

Tell him to go ahead and buy it.

You can do it. This is the idea, all things be equal if the car stays well used, you will not have (Major) problem fixing in the next 14 months at least, within this period you must have saved about 1.3m for yourself (with serious dedication and discipline which can be reinvested into getting another car (This you will have to save more to raise the money). But at least you know you already have 88% of the money you need to get another car. Then two of you will speed up the repayment on the HP thereby after 3 years you should be having 2 cars.


Any which way, you will have one car after 2 years if you work steadily and devotedly.
