Please read completely, to be fair, the website is unclear:

"If you change post-secondary schools, the school you plan to change to must also be a DLI. Please check the DLI list and confirm your new school is a DLI before you commit to changing schools.

You must tell us each time you change post-secondary schools. Changing the post-secondary school on your account is a free service.

You don’t need to apply to change your study permit if you are changing schools.

Post-secondary studies include:

university
community college, CEGEP, institute
private university, career college, academy, school or training institution and
ESL/FSL and other language training
"

I have copy-pasted the information on the website directly.

Link here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/change-schools.html#:~:text=Post%2Dsecondary%20students%20changing%20schools

If you are a post-secondary student, and you switch from one DLI to another, while in Canada, you do not need a new study permit.

makano:
Hello Angel

You cant apply to a different school while your application is still on.

And if your application is approved and you still wanna change school, you must apply for another study permit application..

Who exactly is this person to you? What is the relationship you have with them?

I’m asking on behalf of a friend, he said the sponsor is his parental uncle

We give thanks to God in all circumstances. You will be better. Take some to recuperate and reapply if that's the best option for you.

For me, I took some time off, recounted my blessings, and gave more thanks to God. Applied for deferral and channeled more time to other positive activities.

Shalom

You mean "paternal" uncle? As in his father's brother?

If yes, that means they have the same surname right? That itself proves that they have a relationship.

How do you know that your eligibility has started?

On the Application Status web page, the sentence under "Review of Eligibility" turns to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."

You may also find out through your GCMS or CBSA notes.

Hi

I intend liquidating one of my crypto assets to use as POF. What I am worried about is if it will be regarded as a lump sum. Suppose it is, should I show evidence of liquidated crypto asset, or I should just use a gift deed of support by my dad or sibling. If a gift deed is used, will they require the bank statement of the person?

Sources of funds for crypto assets are usually questionable because criminals often use it to cover their tracks. You'll have to put in extra effort to prove the legitimacy, but still, IRCC won't be able to confirm the legitimacy.

I suggest that you use the gift deed instead and pay them back with your crypto assets.

I don't think they have to provide a bank statement, but I'll leave someone else to answer this.

Please is it true that after going to canada you can decide not to school until your 4 years elapses? Will the school notify IRCC that you havnt been attending lectures?

Schools are required to report students who don't attend lectures regularly to IRCC.

Have been a silent follower on this platform and have been seeing a lot of testimonies and motivational stories which made me want to share mine. At first it was an attempt to try canada study route but God did it for me even with a low CGPA and study gap of 16years. Although am still waiting for 2 children application but God that started will surely finish.

Application submission for me and my 2 kids: July 4th
Upfront Medicals: June 20th
Biometrics: July 16th
PPR: September 6th
Ielts: R:6, w:7.5, s:7,L:6.5

For my 2 children: letter of Authorisation by non accompany parent which was submitted on September 8th and up till now no update yet. Pls what do I do cos am really tensed, the waiting is crazy. Although my program start in January 2023.

To be honest, I'm skeptical of your PPR testimony based on the information you shared about your profile and your 2 month processing time.

It would be great if you could modify your post to include a screenshot and also list out the documents you submitted so that we can learn from your application.

If your application is genuine, all I can say is be patient. There's still time.

Show verifiable evidence that you have held those crypto assets portfolio for a significant period of time.

Show evidence indicating that you have been trading with and hence liquidation of those crypto assets

Clearly explain the equivalent lump sums that entered your account from the crypto asset liquidation, and demonstrate that you'll have unfettered access to the funds.

Please do not just speculate by simply showing a screenshot of a portfolio, then showing lump sum deposits into your account, it won't work.

There were email & text trails that had the assets portfolio creation, and you'll have same showing liquidation. You'll have to also convince the VO that you've held your savings as crypto assets and not doc deposits / business investments (you re going demonstrate that mindset with evidence).

You can do it easily if you're meticulous, and transparent.

I used crypto assets (even not liquidated) to show pof, although mostly for demonstrating that I am not consuming my life savings to take my fam n I for the study.

more like, tell the fam what you did uniquely to convince the VO in your application and of your profile, because as the OP said, regardless of low CGPA, IELTS, and travelling with dependents, he/she got it.

Plus, lets spotlight this, its too coincidental. When IRCC dash refusual front, left, and centre, and then you come post July applicant which was approved Sept. 6th after one or two persons have cried to ask how far with July applicants.

In my opinion, if something is too good to be true, it usually is!

This kind of questions creates more problems for genuine Nigerian students if IRCC sees it.

Hello guys I need your opinion. My tuition is CAD$19,045.90 for winter 2023 and I paid CAD$5000.00 on June 15th and attached official school receipt from Niagara college Toronto with my visa application. I was given a due date 1st of October to pay first term fee which is $10,236.95 but I’ve been waiting for a decision from IRCC before making more payment but since I submitted July 3rd I’m yet to get a decision from IRCC. In other to secure my spot in the school and meet up with the due date I had no other option than to pay another $5236.95 on 25th September and I just got another payment receipt of complete first term fee totaling $10,236.95 Should I send the new receipt via webform or email to them so they see I’ve paid first term fee and met the schools condition or I should wait for a decision with the previous $5000 receipt I’ve submitted before.

Did you use Form A in paying your fees and if yes what bank did you use?
