Good evening, folks. Could anyone help me with the emails British Columbia MPs. My school will be resuming on October 3, 2022, and my eligibility had not started with my application. These people are extremely slow and they need to hasten up, otherwise many students will be losing their admissions.

It’s obviously fake. Eligibility is 15th, PPR is 12. Lol

Biometrics again for 2nd application? Oh no!! Canada biometrics valids for 10yrs … some posts here in NL later didn’t look real kind of…. “Then, I contacted Makano to guide me in writing the LOE” in this write up even raised a concern ..
NL travel thread isn’t what it used to be 8-10yrs ago … For 3hrs have been reading stories from diff thread and all I see is ppl complaining of scam and fake story up and down

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by jaydave: 9:08pm On Sep 30, 2022
Just go to UBA and get their dollar prepaid card. You will get it that same day , then go to aboki to buy dollar and save it on your dollar prepaid account .. you can use the card to do any transaction online provided it’s not more than $2500 monthly.
I think the limit transaction naira card can do now is $20 daily according to the cbn policy

Freelyliving:
Guys please how y'all pay application fees when applying that seems to be my only bane now

And do I have to get a supervisor before applying to Canada unis for a master's in engineering?

Please I would appreciate answers

SOP means statement of purpose while LOE stands for Letter of explanation.SOP is a document prepared by applicants (usually 1st timers) to explain their profile so far including purpose of their study in a particular field/ school; proof of fund, ties to home country etc while LOE (usually for reapplication) tackles areas of VOs concerns when applications are rejected.LOE is usually brief and more concise than SOP

It's always advisable to order for GCMS Notes when applications are denied to enable such applicant tackle areas of VO's concerns objectively before reapplying.

I hope this helps.

Nobody has ever said you can't apply for diploma or whatever.. they only advise that you should be able defend and convince the VO why you are going for a program lower than what you already have or why you have a long study gap..people pls read pages back to see the true picture of how to package your application..
tudun:
This is important..whoever gave that notion that once you have done your first degree then you have to do a masters or higher programme was very wrong.

Also whoever said once you have a long year study gap you must do a course related to your present job is also wrong.

That is just a jinx...I applied study permit for someone who graduated since 2010 and is now selling clothes, her programme is just diploma and not related to her clothing business at all and she was approved. All praise to God.

So please let nobody discourage you, just get your documents right, your purpose very convincing and put all in God's hands.

All that matters is that the applicant can prove that they are a genuine student with genuine intentions to study in Canada.

I don't know the full background of your friend so I can't conclude anything other than she was able to prove that she was a genuine student with genuine intentions.

There's no hard and fast rule in this, but certain situations make it harder to prove that you're a genuine student.

Not much you can do for now.

Request GCMS notes.

Use this opportunity to review the documents you submitted. If you need to add anything, do so. Be careful and thorough but do not contradict previous statements...only clarify.

An expensive option is to get someone to go over your application as well. The trick is finding someone who won't charge an arm and a leg...and who knows what they are doing.

Sorry Dear...Just take a breather, you will be fine.

Request your GCMS notes for clearer understanding of the VO's concerns and refire.

Meanwhile, If you do not mind though, can you share details of the POF, Tuition, amount paid, self sponsored or spondored by whom...etc? Some of the gurus in house may be able to offer one or two hints which can help you towards your reapplication.

- study plan may be unbelievable to that officer
- funds insufficient for 1 full year or even the entire study period (there is case law confirming this justification)
- no strong ties to Nigeria.
- belief that funds are only temporary
- may be a nudging to you to apply for PR directly. Have you checked your CRS score?

I partly agree with you and partly disagree. You attribute it to luck and faith (God), but I don't. I believe it's fully within your control to present a logical argument that convinces the visa officer that you're a genuine student.

No one can 100% say. Just try applying.

You may want to know that some provinces are facing shortages in healthcare professionals. So your course may work in your favour.
