Hello Oga, I have been trying to reach you like forever.

I have sent you PM's repeatedly and no response.
I also dug out your email and sent you a mail directly but yet no response.

Kindly help me out by indicating how I can take just 10 minutes of your time.

I need to start the bread distribution business immediately and I am counting on your guidance.

Indeed I saw your mails but I really couldn't answer them because I was swarmed.

I have however decided to pen down some of my thoughts (drawn from personal experience and observation) in the link below for you to examine and see if it will be useful. I hope it helps you and others who have the same interest.

Even during this crisis, some small business are still plying their trade and making money in the process especially those in the essential services segment.

There are many lessons to be drawn from here.

I work in a bakery and I can tell you there has been no dull moment.

We produce everyday even though we have experienced a 13% drop in our production volume but we are still producing nonetheless.

Our distributors have also been making money especially those ones that have their own cars and come to the bakery to lift products.

For those who don’t have vehicles we have worked out a mutually beneficial delivery arrangement that ensures that we have a win-win situation.

On the whole it has been an interesting experience even though we also look forward to a return to normalcy.

ONNYX, so you own a bakery?
I look to help poach good staff from GR*ND. Their bread rocks!
No adverts.

Employing a staff from a famous bakery that bakes quality bread doesn't guaranteed a quality production nor success in your bakery. He is just a staff and doesn't know their recipes.
More so you can't copy their recipes and make gain because, you can't sell your products thisame price they sell theirs.

Anyway for a Lapidary Bakery Business Plan or you need more enquiries and advice WhatsApp us on 09030417834.
Thanks!

That's what most people fail to understand about poaching staff from bakeries that produce quality loaves.

Different bakeries are venture into business with very different business plans. Hence the difference in quality and operation.

[quote author=ONNYX post=76731739]Today, I wish to advise those who intend to go into bakery ownership in the long term.

Please understand that this is my perspective and drawn from my observations in the industry.

If you have an interest in owning a bakery in the future I strongly suggest that to make it easy for you consider the following steps.

Avoid a theoretical Consultant. In the majority of cases a consultant is a failed baker. The best consultants are usually the ones who are currently running a profitable bakery; this is an index for identifying who you should hire as your bakery set-up Guide. Alternatively, get a job in a bakery no matter how lowly the position and salary are and then observe keenly and with resolute exactitude how the breading process works. Ensure that you LEARN and UNDERSTAND the various stages that constitute the process, raw materials, recipe, and very importantly also play around with the raw materials and configuration.

If you spend one year in the job and also draw a lot of theoretical back-up from the Internet especially Youtube videos you should be ready to launch out on your own.

Another option is to adopt the business angle. A lot of bakeries fail because they have no clue whatsoever about how bread is marketed. They bake the bread and then are at a total loss as regards how to get it to the consumer. A very good option for the business-minded entrepreneur would be for him to identify a new bakery that has appealing products, register as a distributor and start selling bread.

Two things will benefit him from this angle;

1. He will learn the ropes of bread distribution.

2. He will build a robust database of customers who will constitute his initial customers when he sets up shop.

Feel free to drop your questions here and I will consider it an honor to attend it. You must however understand that it could take some time before I respond. I am very busy at the moment especially with having new products coming up. [

Educative.

Pls, can you mentor me on how to start the bread production business from home? I will like to start on a small scale.

Thanks

What happened to it?
Re: Bread Business In Nigeria; Demystifying The Bakery Industry Myth. by ahnie: 5:48pm On Oct 09, 2022
The guy supplying me bread makes close to 60k weekly from me.
And we're about 9 running the same fast businesses.
He also supplies stores and supermarkets around us...simply put guys making close to 500k weekly.

What a question?

It's imply means you didn't read the through the thread.

500k weekly is very possible.....where a number of variables are in place....going by what the OP stated.

I've also done some research and interviewed a few bread distributors. It's a great business.

Perhaps OP should come back and refresh our minds here.
