Do you remember the flood that happened in Delta State in the Ofagbe area just a few days ago?

Up till now, the town is still flooded, no going out of the town and no coming out.

If you tried to leave, you must be very careful.

2 dead bodies recovered so far as a result of drowning.

Well, that is not the essence of the post.

Animals are also affected.

This animal came out of its habitat due to the floor and the residents killed it.

A video of the floor was posted here https://www.facebook.com/100083258474451/posts/pfbid0298GeUUHwap2wufqBj1nh2giSagP9VpcVC1ztSP1YXXtfdy6MW7hfnh7q5eQKjXyyl/?app=fbl

Wow, mere appearance of the deer shows that the meet shall taste good.

Answer the question miss?

You see. Only if you are a vegetarian will I understand your point of argument, if not, then you are not making sense.

Animals are meant for food, that's what our forefathers hunted, ate and survived with. So, save me that civilized or awoke rubbish.

Again, its not a sin to kill and eat an animal you find, or is it? Which verse of the bible? Don't let confusion of white people confuse you.
Your fore father's were less intelligent and very ignorant to how the world works. If you feel your ancestors got things right and the white men are confused.
I wonder why you're on the internet browsing, because your ancestors don't do that. Hope you can see illogical you sound right?

Animal protection doesn't mean don't eat animal. But in a society where wild life are going exting the best is to kill any on sight and eat?

That's barbaric from unintelligent barbarians.
Goat and other animals Dont fit into this category because they are being bred to multiply their availability.

I thought everyone did basic agric science lol

What is hypocrisy here?

Find better intelligent convo to engage me with?

Is it every animal that must be eaten?

Try that is developed nations and see how you will pay for it.

Was it on ordinary parrot a Nigerian killed and he was deported?

Developed countries have what is even called Deer Season; a period it is legally acceptable for civilians to shoot, kill and eat deer. Some use the other skin for Taxidermy. States like Alaska, it's almost a year round thing.

as in even the ones that nobody will eat my Naija people will still kill it and throw it away. Imagine how those beautiful butterflies that use to be rampant those years back compare to now where some of them have gone into extinction and some has become endangered species.

May God help us oo
As an adult I saw butterfly recently in Lagos. I was wowed!
It's been years I saw butterfly, its going extinct In this part of the world.

It seems you don't get the memo?

Kill with sense to preserve them from extinction.
Not kill anyhow to fill your tummy. That is why laws to protect wildlife need to be taken serious so we can have a regulated time to hunt and not to. Why is this simple thing too hard for people to understand.

Its legal to hunt any animal that's not endangered what are you crying about? People hunt deer over here in Texas nobody goes to jail over it. Assuming its was legally done in season.
If the white men there kill on sight like your brothers here I'm sure you won't see any nomore.

Every animal we see in this country, we kill it.

There was supposed to be animal protection law in this country.

The dear is too beautiful to be killed.

We are destroying the ecosystem in this country.

Deers are also killed abroad... go check out what open season is

If it were a goat that was killed, no one would complain, why the double standard when y'all saw a beautiful deer?

Goats are breed to multiple in a sustainable way but deers are not.... Look at this now, it's habitat flooded further reducing their chances of survival and most likely killed many of them in the forest.

They are also hunted by big cats, Python and cobras

Goats are domestically reared and are far far from being on the list of endangered species.

Rare animals like this in the forests, we don't even have an idea what number it is. We have no idea but there is a sense of the rapid dwindling of forest animals since our bushes and farms are being shrunk on a daily basis.

How many times have you seen elephants again in the wild? What of lions and leopards? Other african countries like Kenya, Mozambique, S. A have swathes of wildlife lands that have been cordoned and under restriction from human occupation and encroachment.

Nigerians on the other hand live lives like complete animals. No control; nothing! Fulani herdsmen enter any bush with guns. Imagine just how many rare precious animals they would have gunned down.

Please study properly before commenting.....

Open season is based on curbing the excess population breed by the animals...

They actually put in the efforts in ensuring the animals are preserved to be able to carry out animal gaming...

Your country is not inches close to the organization of developed nations.... So trying to use western system to justify the barbaric attitudes which is now a norm is a total failure

Madam, deers are least concern. Infact, they ate overpopulated!... There's nothing wrong in hunting them as they are one of the most hunted animals as game all over the world.
