Deltamani:CAF is broke. The current president has put CAF in her worst position financially. They cancelled deals with sponsors and depleted reserves the previous administration built. Osasu has been sounding th alarm for quite a while |

solonnachi:The midfield is doing a good job in connecting with the attack. But, as with other Naija teams, there is a tad more showboating than necessary |

I think our girls just need to settle into the game and be a lot more relaxed. I was concerned the first 15 minutes or so of the game as they had challenges with transition, but they are constantly growing into the game. Germany obviously played better, but our girls are fortunate to be ahead. The fullbacks especially the left fullback needs to wake up. We are most vulnerable there. Our coach should please keep quite biko. He's doing exactly what Danjuma did with the u20 girls. Allow these girls play, interject a few times and save your shouting for the dressing room. He literally wants to dictate all the plays. Omilana has been fantastic. Great goal by usani, Ajakaye needs to release the balls and position faster, she's obviously talented. Great first half. |

Flamingos of Nigeria opened their FIFA #U17WWC account, losing their 1st group B game against Germany. Two second half goals helped Germany turn around a half time deficit after trailing through Miracle's Usani's goal. FT in Goa: Germany 2-1 Nigeria

The girls put up a strong opposition though. They need to think fast and work fast against teams like this! Nice one girls! On to the next match! |

Excitement, as Amaju Pinnick formally hands over NFF to Ibrahim Musa Gusau It was an epic moment at the Nigeria Football Federation office on Tuesday morning as FIFA Council Member and Member of the CAF Executive Committee, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick formally handed over the reins of the NFF to the winner of presidential election at the September 30 Elective General Assembly held in Benin City, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau.

lovewins:So said the lack of coordination is obvious. What is this all balls to Ajakaye I'm seeing? I know it's cadet football but this middle is non existent and then the way they press is off. The Germans will start from the back and no one to pit pressure on them and they'll be watching and running back as the Germans advance further up the pitch. Terrible!! Aerial balls are more than Ground passes i believe. The Germans noticed and worked on that. I see no wingers. Seems they are focused on their secondary duty than the primary one. And no be say this German defence sabi. They look confused at the back too. I'm afraid this team is built around Ajakaye and that's a big recipe for disaster. If she injure like this, the team is toothless. |

There is a problem in the flamingoes team.It is The lack of ability to shoot by each player apart from Ajakaiye. It was a great game and I tell you if we won it doesn't change the problems we noticed by which we could have been punished by a more offensive team!!! This is the problems. The coach dropped some players from the team that did the qualifiers and that is what is also part of the effect of it all. It's is affecting the team. They have good passing coordination but there is no shooting initiative nor offensive mindedness. The Germans caught us off guard after studying the porous back. Also I noticed there is no player willing to go forward the same pace with Ajakaiye and this is not good They just pull back if Ajakaiye is not forward!! What's with all that? What would happen if Ajakaiye is not in the team It would be a trouble. |

AkinDS:Is that the only fact we are seeing right now or you just want to view this one sided? That information has become his excuse and whether they keep asking him, he seems to use that and its silly. If he was that special or knows this job, he will effect some shift. We are seeing the opposite. The results is all that matters. Nigerians love burying their heads in the sand, expecting the rest of the continent (and world) remain at a stand still. Guess what? They are not and that is why the likes of Morrocco, South Africa, Zambia and others are progressing fast!I love how you defend this man. It's also hilarious. We are not surprised they are progressing. We know the noose is tighter. But stating it like its some Revelation from Morgoth. I guess its his job to get on the field and score now, right? As a coach, you prosecute a game with the players at your disposal. Now, if those players aren't up to the task. (contrary to the misguided beliefs of Nigerians that all their players are the best in the world), then you get what you get. If you like, go and get yourself a Pia Sundhagen or Sarina Wiegman or Vlatko Andonovski or even Florence Omagbemi for that matter. It wouldn't change a damn thing! The boldened is funny. Pls state where this was repeatedly established. Your "you get what you get" line is off. His tactics is working and we have been losing back to back games and can barely score under 30mins mark ![]() Then when we complain about that, you bring up his "teams are progressing" talk?? ![]() I, for one, saw a Nigerian ladies team, short on personnel and acclimatization (due to jet lag) play against the Japanese and dominated in the first half. I saw them playing the high block and low block and moving the ball around brilliantly and impressively. In closing: I was asked (in a previous thread) why I am in support of the man. Well, here's my response...I wait for a day you'll have this huge faith in a local coach. I won't say anything beside that. Heavens will fall and you will definitely be one that pull the trigger. Bravo!! Pls do defend Project Randy if we mess up at this Mundial. Afterall, everyone is catching up and we need to wake up |
