It's the mentality and togetherness for me. And as for the conditioning, I read that half the squad have gotten their own personal fitness trainer this season. Note, this isn't forced but what the players willing did. That tells you the kind of hunger and elite mentality this group have and the desire to go far.

I've been talking on these mentality and improvements since last season, I just didn't know we'll get to this extent this season

I just hope we keep having little or no injury concerns as the season progresses. That way I'm sure we will have a very good season and maybe win one or two cups on the way

Yeah, I just hope our fitness carries us to at least Jan, then we can strengthen the squad in key positions.

I believe if we're able to do that, at least 1 cup will follow us come end of season with a top 4

I believe he'll fare there well. He played Lcb in some games at Marseille

I think the goal is to give some of them that are doing well in the academy some big matches exposure when possible to boost their confidence/performances and not necessarily to rely on them to start matches.

Europa League group stage is also another avenue for big match exposure to boost their confidence/performance. How do you think Someone like Saka, Smith Rowe and Martinelli et al gained their confidence with time?

We've got 1 or 2 talented players in the academy, this is the best platform to build them without much attention.

They started playing league cup and FA cup matches first.

I think the fact that we don't rate Europa league ( considering we were regulars in UCL for years) doesn't mean others don't rate the competition. Maybe Arteta doesn't want to throw the youngsters straight at Europe....but then one can't really understand his position on these things

Considering Europa starts before league and Fa cup, I don't know how factual that is.

I think group stage is an easy platform for these guys to perform. Wenger did it when we didn't qualify for UCL, Emery did it the two group stage seasons he was here. Not saying everybody should be academy but one or two.

Another thing is Bodo Glimt pitch. I read it's artificial and can it isn't comfortable for most professionals. I just hope none of our main starter picks up injury esp Saka
