If you truly understand what is happening in Ghana now you can never say Ghana is better than Nigeria, the only thing people in Ghana are enjoying is light and security, Ghana economy have collapse and a lot of people are going through hard time, I have live in Ghana for 27 years, my wife is a Ghanaian, all my children including myself are all Ghana citizens, so let no one deceive you
Ghana's economy has not collapsed. They would get on board with the IMF soon and use that to gain legitimacy in their debt reforms when they want to borrow again, or they may also be able to look inwards long term for other avenue of resources.

Bro no mind them joor. Them go just type rubbish with their japa mentality. For Nigeria, you can comfortably manage 10k for one week+, but you can’t try that with the equivalent in GHC (dem no born you well). Ghana cedis is worthless in Ghana but the equivalent in Naira can do better here. The only cheapest food there is kenke and koko. A bottle of bear (Club) is about 1k in their local bars, Imagine the amount in their hotels and clubs. Omo, the only thing good in Ghana is their constant light (very expensive) and security, no police intimidations, every other things are zero. Inflation is biting hard on them

Una go dey talk investment like bad investments don’t happen, or unforeseen circumstances can’t occur and 4k your investment up, most times it’s even better to even save

Saving in an economy where naira is depreciating? Lol. Yes there are risks in biz but opt for the one that the risk is not higher than the profit.

Anybody that says Ghana is better than Nigeria, is a big liar. Let me tell you the honest truth, Ghana is only better than Nigeria in aspect of electricity and security. But wait, isn’t that the key parameters to measure if a country is doing good?

I came to Ghana in 2021, I can’t say it’s the worst decision of my life. But I have had my own fair share of the popular saying “This is Accra, Cry your Cry” omo, it has been hard, but I cannot say that there hasn’t been days that were extremely good.

I came into this country using an iPhone 7, now I am using an iPhone 12 Pro Max, it was in this country I met davido one on one. This time last year I was a millionaire here in Ghana. So u see, I cannot say Ghana has been bad to me.

Fast forward to today, I am penniless. At the verge of being thrown to the street. House rent is due in few weeks time. No money for bank account, I don’t even know where the money will come from. I have contemplated returning back to Nigeria, but am I going to borrow the money to do so? Even if I return back to Nigeria now, will I return back to my father’s house? These are the questions.

Well, for now. I think I have to keep being positive and remain on my grind, hoping for God to make a way for me. That’s my only hope.
please op we want to really try to help you but you need to tell us the full story and every detail because the story which we got you were spending money with davido or Wizkid. Please I would like to know the full true story so that we can try to help you or assist you if you should come back home or if we should move on we want to know your full economical status and what went wrong so that you don't make the same mistake

My brother they're not doing well, exchange rate is sky rocketing against the USA dollars (11.45 cedis to a dollar covert it to naira)
Food prices highest in Africa as we speak.
Cost of electricity is 130 % increased recently to avoid collapse on their electricity sector.
Taxes for a start up is nothing to right home about, imagine paying for covid 19 tax and other unnecessary tax.

The economy has been downgraded by the international credit agency (FITCH) to CC .
The last thing you don't want to hear is there are on their way to IMF.
The economy is no longer in control by the government.
The worst performing currency in the world behind Zimbabwe.

Make I no lie, na their big yanshed black babes dey tempt me to work for there.

I'm a medical doctor and I heard I can be making like ¢7,000/month there in my profession.

Please how come there are so many Nigerians in Ghana which are broke you are talking about 10K.

I did not know that Nigerians are also having effective mentality in Ghana. 10K cannot even take me one day. I was expecting Ghana to get some serious investment from Nigeria but what I am now realizing Ghana is getting hunger and poverty from his people crossing the border

Meanwhile, your Destiny is already in your hand. you can raise money by selling your iPhone 12 pro max then buy Nokia touch, then use the money to relocate back to Nigeria and start afresh, is good to learn in a hard way sometimes.

My friend make sure you don't buy a iPhone 14 Promax and end up in the same story as the one which opened this thread because they are a lot of people around him. It looks like the course of the iPhone and the big Yash is really real in Ghana. If you go there make sure you do party with Wizkid this time

You didn't tell us what you were doing for a living that has refused to earn you a living in Ghana.

If you spend all the time without replenishing, you are liable to run out of cash. Plus you met Davido, that's because you have been flexing instead of working.

You alone know how it all went down
