Leyqute:Ronaldo is my man for life, but i have come to admit that his time to compete in football is up. And what is wrong is wrong. It was just 5 minutes more. He could have just waited till the final whistle and walked out. Thats a very big disrespect on the fans. United was winning comfortably. But i feel the reason he's stuck with United is because of the WC. He didn't want to stay. He didn't want to play Europa No UCL team came for him He can buy out his contract So the sole reason for me was that he wanted to remain in a team and make the list for the WC. That's what it looks like for me Because clearly, the guy looks uninterested |

You have lots of ignorant folks here. Termination of contracts is not as easy and straightforward as peeps here think. Who is initiating the Termination? Ronaldo or United Is the party initiating ready to compensate the other party? What does the original contract say about Termination and compensation? Buying yourself out of a contract is only convenient when you have a suitor ready to absorb you. Again, what does the terms of the original contract say about this? There are contracts with clauses about not working for rivals immediately after disengagement. |

LostMyZeal:Idiot. Get your facts right before spewing rubbish. Ronaldo was asked to warm up and then asked to come on. He refused to come on after warming up. Then he left angrily before the game ended. The inference here is simple: he wanted to be the star of the team and he’s not happy the team excels without him. Now, instead of coming to terms with this truth, stans like you will ignore all sense and sanity and start defending the indefensible. I’m certain you’ll reply this post with insults because that’s all you seem to know how to do. Or maybe you get orgasm from being an emotional public nuisance. |

Expert17:The guy is an emotional bag of senselessness. |

izzou:You’re probably right. This wasn’t the first time he was dropped. He didn’t throw tantrums then. Why now? After the World Cup, he’ll probably find his square root. Surely, he must know that his time as a regular starter for a top European team is over. |

Leyqute:Its over oh. Unless he wins the WC, then he can attract some One-year deals here and there. |

Leyqute:It could be that no one wanted to pay a transfer fee for him. Suitable offer is different from an offer. Of course, no sensible club should pay a fee to have a 38 year old player. They would have been happy to have him for free and give him 300-500k weekly. |

Ten Hag: "After Vallecano, I told him [Ronaldo] it was unacceptable [to leave early] but not him everyone, this is the second time, there are consequences." |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristineC: 11:52am On Oct 21, 2022 |
LordAdam16:Ronaldo is irritating no one but himself with his shenanigans. when you give the impression that you only care about yourself to your teammates, even when these guys support and respect you on and off the pitch, then it's only natural they ignore you too. reports of the team celebrating their victory without noticing Ronaldo's absence should be a clear message to him. he should try not to be seen as a villain among the fans in the stadium for the rest of his stay with the club. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristoBam: 11:52am On Oct 21, 2022 |
nitrogen:Question is how do you know he wasn't real with him? Or you think whatever Ten Hag says to the media is exactly what he tells the player in private? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Ellexy: 11:53am On Oct 21, 2022 |
Ten Hag confirms that Cristiano Ronaldo refused to come on against Tottenham: "Yes." But they said it was ETH who refused to play him. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Ellexy: 11:55am On Oct 21, 2022 |
Ten Hag: "It will have a reflection for him [Ronaldo], but also for everyone, I said at the start of the season, next time there has to be consequences otherwise when you are living together and playing together, football is a team sport and you have to fulfil certain standards." |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristoBam: 11:55am On Oct 21, 2022 |
LordAdam16:I bet you hope he'll sink, judging by all your posts here. You can try to play defensive and angry all you want. |

Odunharry:I don't see Erikson starting. Ten Hag may opt with more mobility in the middle. It's another tough away game, perhaps he learnt something from the Etihad? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Ellexy: 12:01pm On Oct 21, 2022 |
Leyqute:For all the ego on display no team actually valued him to the point of putting in a bid for him. The funny thing is his fans keep saying he doesn't give a fvck about not playing but he's the one acting up just because of that. |

kifeyous:Hmmm another narrative don arrive. So he was forced to stay at United this season by Ferguson? Where you at the meeting to ascertain this Sir? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Ellexy: 12:15pm On Oct 21, 2022 |
izzou:This is the issue. If he looks uninterested and all that, why then is he angry or kicking up a fuss when the coach benches him. He still wants to coach to be starting him as uninterested as he looks? |

odizeey:'Fans with nonsense ego' 'Forming Standards' Lmao fanboys ehhn. Make una continue. New era, new manager, new way of doing things. United fans want their club run with utmost discipline like City, Madrid, Liverpool and the likes. But fanboys are pissed United fans detest any soap opera saga this period. The day Ronaldo leaves, a large part of the fanbase will make a huge sigh of relief. To be finally done with all the nonsense. All of these because of a 38 years old. Only united can be this unfortunate and we're trying to change that. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by odizeey(m): 12:40pm On Oct 21, 2022 |
ChristoBam:This has been our nature. You see people insulting Bruno, De Gea, etc. People giving their all to the team. They did it to Pogba for no reason. The fanbase gats change. There are times when players should leave but turning on your best players all the time is stupidity in my opinion. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Ellexy: 12:41pm On Oct 21, 2022 |
ChristoBam:Sometimes you wonder how some stanboys reason. So to them what Ronaldo is doing is okay, he should disrespect everybody, his teammates, his coach, the fans, the entire club and it's okay because no club valued him enough to pay a transfer fee. Now he's blaming the fans I don't understand their logic tbh ![]() |

ChristineC:He is irritating the board. You think they want to deal with this crap? As for the players, Ronaldo does not give a sh*t. As for the fans, most want him gone. So I'm not sure what the threat of "not being seen as a villain" comes in. That is where the likes of myself, eph, nitro.gen, patrick are saying his contract should be terminated and allowed to leave in January. Then buy a striker in the January transfer window. Or you freeze him out completely and tell ETH any result is okay if you're not getting him a striker. These half measures of no Chelsea game, but we'll see about the future is not helping anyone. But the Board in their usual manner are treating this with levity. According to the so-called high tier sources, ETH wanted to sub in Ronaldo late in the game. Ronaldo told him to f*ck off because it was too late. Then left OT. That is what Whitwell and co are reporting. Then the disciplinary action is to freeze him for one game and make him train alone. Then say there'd be no activity in the Winter window. I can remember when Ronaldo left Juventus. He pretty much said whatever happens, he would not play under Allegri again. Juventus had to take a loss and let him go. That's the same sh*t he's pulled, except more publicly. The solution is to freeze him out permanently. Commit to back ETH in the January transfer window. Let him go in January. Else the shenanigans will continue. It is very simple. But maybe they're waiting until he pulls a Kepa and refuses to be subbed off or gives another interview where he says he is trapped (last time he called it slavery) before they do the needful. -Lord |
