The major factor for me is to have a SOUND CAR, once your car is solid then you are good to go...Unless the dashboard we see here is fake, which i doubt, then its not all gloomy afterall...Those complaining usually have something in common, sometimes some of you place too much or high expectation on your income.Be reasonably with your expectation, dont rush it.Ehailing MIGHT not give you those millions because obviously that is what you want,No you won't get it!
I ask a question; pls is it POSSIBLE for anyone with a GOOD/SOUND car, a healthy state of mind not to be able to NET 10k a day? That is basically a gross of about 13k on indriver..Pls can someone answer this question? Is it possible to save 8k daily out of the 10? Can you do 8,000 * 7 days a week = 56,000. Can you do 56,000 * 4 week (a month)? That is 224,000 net? Let us even reduce it to 200k for unforeseen circumstances...This should be the LOWEST for anyone. I drive intermittently on this platform, could be tiring no doubt but if wetin dey pursue you is big enough, you will scale through.....I ask again, is it too hard to NET 10k daily on ehailing if you have a good car? Last week was my first week driving and it was full of events, learning and adjustments.

I had car issues (my car is not a Tokunbo car) so I spent a large portion of time at the mechanic's place. Car is in good condition now. I also had several bashes in traffic because of my brakes. Brakes are in perfect condition now.

Last Monday, I used rida app because my bolt and Indriver were not yet active. That rida, their prices are too cheap. And pickup distances are too far. Imagine driving 1hr 30mins to pickup a 10mins trip and the app won't tell you 1hr 30mins to pick up it will tell you 10mins. It's when you open the map you will know. At like Ikeja are still better but still, it's shitty app, I had to ditch the it.

Tuesday I drove to bolt office at Lekki to rectify my bolt account. It was as if they won't open the account.

I found a way on Wednesday. Drove to VI and did short short trips. At a point, around 8pm I was tired and hungry, somehow, I had been doing card trips so no cash. I parked the car on Muri Okunola street. Trekked and look for GTB withdrew and ate indomie. Trekked back, was still tired feeling sleepy. I started the car it won't start. I just slept in it overnight. The next morning I discovered I had transmission on D not P after I turned off the engine, I put it on P and started engine, it responded at once. My tired was really tired the previous day.

Thursday and Friday, I didn't work. Car was at the mechanic's to fix brakes and some others. I was with them till late at night on the two days.

Yesterday, Saturday was when I now really drove but I got arrested by taskforce at Festac.

Left mechanic's shop around 1pm to start hustle.

First ride took me from Ojodu to Surulere, did many short trips within Surulere and then a trip to Festac.

Had to cough out 50k to have the car released at night. I had already made about 10k between 1pm when I left the mechanic's shop and around 5pm when I was arrested for using one way (ABC Transport Road on Festac) I didn't know that road was one way. ( Me that I've said I won't go on any trip that takes me to Festac. My plan was to drop the riders, go offline and find my way out of there ASAP)

I've realised nothing is in that Festac for me. Na wahala full there.

My partner paid 30k of it. I raised the rest. One Danfo bashed me again at obalende yesterday night.

For me, I see it as paying my dues on the road. I will continue and payback all the money I owe. I strictly need to limit the areas I visit to areas I'm familiar with. In all, I thank God.

I don't think there's anyone here doing the hustle that hasn't faced LASTMA or Taskforce. It's part of the Job.

They told you to pay a certain sum and you bargained with them but they keep saying No, whereas they would still accept what you offered because the money is going to an individual account.

I signed up for the ALX Software Development program few months back and I am willing to see to the conclusion of the program.

It is someone that has not eaten IT money that will feel there is any time too much to devote to learning IT programs.

When Fiverr was booming for me, there were times I earned over 800k per month with less stress.

The picture I have on Bolt is the one I took when I was still earning very well on Fiverr. I was looking robust with fat cheek and all. Most riders will see me and say that the picture they are seeing is different from the person they are looking at, I will just shove that away but deep down, I'm hurting.

It seems to me like moving from Grace to grass. My friend just sold about $900 from his Fiverr earnings at the price of 710/$. Do the maths and tell me how long I would need to drive on Bolt to earn that.

I went for Bolt inspection and I was told to repaint my bumpers and remove my car seat because it's torn.

I repainted for 12k, bought the car seat for 32k (leather) and changed my AC filter plus gas for 7k. That's 51k spent in less than two days. That's not inclusive of the 20k I paid to VIO and other miscellaneous expenses on the car.

So, even if I net 300k on Bolt, I am spending 100k plus on the car even though my car is not a problematic one.

A software engineer will earn in a month, what you earn in a year. It is a program that is worth it if you can find time to drive for just four hours in a day just to pay bills.

I can connect with anyone who's interested in pursuing this course so we do it as a team.

IT money is one of the sweetest money out there, More of brain work, one sweet thing about it is you don’t retire, the older the wine, the better it is. I.e more experience, more money .
