I read that they are doing well and their leaders are not as greedy as other African leaders. Well I haven't been to Botswana and I don't know how the system works over there. But I can proudly tell you Botswana have the best animal tourism in Africa. If you wanna go on a tourist excursion to see real African breed animals like Zebra, elephant, tortoise, crocodile, hippopotamus, lions etc. Botswana is the best place for you. I have lived and worked in 2 countries and Continents oversea and travelled to 6 different countries, within 15 years, I have dual citizenship with one of the countries. I can say this with a gun held to my head that a whiteman is no where better than a Blackman.
I relocated back to my Beloved Africa and that was the best decision in my life, because I find peace here.
Apart from infrastructures, Nigeria is far better to live than so many European countries. And Nigerians will never want to pay for those infrastructures through taxes like them.

The stage we are in, in just 60+ of our existence, America & EU were the full definition of a Shithole and wild west when they were our age.

Rwanda is only good at quality education, the government create a good learning environment for them. Every student (from primary school - university level) has free laptops and free internet wifi to browse and research that's all. While everything about Rwanda is absolutely nothing to write about.
I have been to South Africa and I will tell you there's no difference between Nigeria and South Africa. When you mention Ghana I was just laughing.. Ghana is not even near civilization not to talk of producing good leaders.
The only African country that is near to standard and I can advice people to visit is "Mauritius". Majority of the system is working well. Good roads, there's always light, good leaders, good education, good health care service, good employment and working hours. There are also white people living there comfortably. When we're talking about 'proper' African countries, don't mention the likes of Mauritius, Seychelles, Namibia, Botswana, Cape Verde etc Less than 2 million people, tiny Mauritius is what you want to praise? How many African migrants are in Mauritius? What's Mauritius' influence in African football, politics, sports, night life, trade, African American 'emancipation'/return to the continent, African music, movies, festivals etc etc? The Ghanas, Nigerias, Egpypts, South Africas, Kenyas, Moroccos, Algerias, Rwa ndas, Congos etc are the big boys on the continent, and the 'happening' places on the continent. Apart from infrastructures, Nigeria is far better to live than so many European countries. And Nigerians will never want to pay for those infrastructures through taxes like them.
Common prepaid meter Naija the by-pass. Try that in those country, they go treat you like say you won kill their president.
The stage we are in, in just 60+ of our existence, America & EU were the full definition of a Shithole and wild west when they were our age.
We just need patriots and good leaders then we will grow faster.

The first time a gun was ever pointed at me, by Cops and rubbers, were in oversea in two different cases, I have been in Naija for years now but never experienced such. Not to talk about the rate of homeless people, rise in unemployments. etc.
Their media are doing a great job selling their country to attract tourists and investors, which end up creating jobs and incomes for their country. But here, we insult and curse our country, chasing investors away.
My Guy, don't be deceived they is no paradise any were, we are only surviving here on earth.

Let me also add this; We miraculously survived before the coming of the white folks, we drank locals herbs, we even created bronze arts, beads and even performed C-C operation saving mother and child when it was only done to save either the mother or child in France.
Read about Mansa Musa, Timbuktu, Ethiopia, Sudan, or at least read things fall apart etc. The whites were so socked when they saw our advance technology, Astronomy, Medicine, craft etc. Loved it so much that they stole some and advance it.
If the white shouldn't have arrived we should have still progress ever far better.

The OP nailed it, especially poor working hours, poor pay  I once worked in a filling station, we are to resumed before 7:am close by 8:pm everyday including Sundays too, no rest just for meagre salary of #10,000 they will not even pay it on time I can't blame the OP I regret being born an African too 1 Like 1 Share |
