Me - back in day while waiting for my WAEC results , I worked at a bakery at Abule-Egba near Agbe Road. I lived at Onitiri Street.
I’ll leave my house at 10pm it was a 10 min walk . Sometimes I’ll get dunkunu ( ghanian corn meal with dey fish and hot pepper & onions) to eat before going. Good old days.
Anyways, one day , I see the boss and jammed this beautiful babe. Omo Ajebo. His daughter . I usually I just deal with Forman.
It was a Saturday and they had just returned from Kingdom Hall . We saw each other and damn . Alarm bells rang … I say hi and she said hello and that was it. Around 12 midnight , she comes around and we start talking and hit on well. She asked who I was , who my father was etc trying to size me up . I noticed that girls don’t really care at that age if you are from money.
What they care are about
1. Do you make them laugh.
2. Are you going somewhere - in school
3. Are you decent and Interesting.
If you hit all three they would steal ( borrow ) from their parents to give you.
Well she would come to my house during the day to hang out and play “ hide and seek” etc. kiss and heavy petting but not third base.
After about a month , boys in the area started noticing , it came to the attention of her brothers who told the dad ( when siblings have arguments they tattle-tale )
So I arrive at the gate the following day. I’m told the boss wants to see me. I go up and he asks have a slept with his daughter , the question through me back a few steps. The heart started beating faster . I said no. He approached me to slap me, I side stepped . Who are you ? Who’s your father, get out of here . Dude. I left . Came the next day to get my cheque.

Weirdly, 2 weeks after , the siblings whom we play soccer together in the area came to apologies and ask that I return to work. I did - however the girl was gone. Sent to live with an aunt or something .

So I ask , how much do you love your job ?
