It can be sweet. But that app is not for people who have remittance to make.

I did one trip on last week Monday. Google map sef lost. I had to cancel. And the road was bad. But there was one I did from Ojodu to igando, 5k. While I did from Oba Akran to LTV for 2.2k
I just stopped and faced my bolt acrivation. You have to wait long hours to get juicy trips.

Yeah true. It's best for drivers with their personal cars.

You can't solely depend on it for HP. You have to use bolt, indrive and even uber to compliment it.

Finally I can never buy a Nigerian used car from abuja based on this current experience, engine parts for that honda is half a million. Any Nigerian used car I get now i am defiantly changing the engine. I just hope I can sell the car with some added value when I put a new engine

Greetings to the house.

I've been an ardent follower of this thread for a while now i'd love if someone put me through a few things.

How long does it take to get a driver's license as I newly registered this past week?

Secondly I just got a Kia Rio recently and I honestly don't know how to properly understand the temperature reading, I've not been too comfortable with the response my mechanic has been giving me.

Thirdly I have close to zero knowledge about Lagos roads, are the maps accurate enough not to get me into trouble?

I don't drive at nights, how will this affect my earnings?

Lastly the AC is almost non existent during the day especially under the scorching heat, but it's still manageable in the morning and evening. How do I correct this?

Thanks as I anticipate your suggestions.

Good evening once again.

I hope you went to FRSC office for your driver's license yourself or at least go through someone that's reliable? Agents can really be frustrating. But if you do out right, in 6 weeks you should get the temporary license.

What year is your Kia Rio?

Is bolt new strategy to block half their drivers?

I can’t beg them by Gods grace if they block me.

Don’t know why they need all this driver score and confirmation rate

You protect your driver score, your confirmation rate suffers, protect your C.R and your D.R suffers.

Make dem just ban all drivers na, and be using carrier pigeons
Lol, I made the post last week. The way people ignored I thought it was only Abuja. By next week 80% would have been blocked. Na rida and Indriver people dey port to.

It's the collect your money aspect I like about them.
They tell u oha "make sure u collect your money from Rider by all means" so if u wan bite rider ear to collect your money, do so. grin
On Indrive, I make sure I see my alert before I let you go...thank God the price is always high enough to cover any extra waiting time. If u refuse to send the money 10mins to the end of the trip u will wait in the hot car.
Abeg on this Indriver app, how do you know the price being offered is fair for the distance? I checked the rider page and discovered the rider can input whatever input he or she deems fit.

You can check it yourself.. Quickly change to passenger mode. Left menu on your app. Type the destination of the rider, if the price tallies, you know it was not tampered with.
Usually, the real price of the trip is indicated in the 3rd option of the bid price given to the driver.
InDriver is a slow burner, gradually you will get a hang of it. Don't rush.

You will get to know the official price for Abuja. A little maths will help too. Once the pick up is close for me, a trip offering #180-200 per km is good.

Yesterday the average price per km was ₦250.

@ Viking07. This is a typical case of fare tampering.
The real fare is the 3rd option circled.
So generally, long distance trips normally hovers around ₦100/km, then 1hr plus is around ₦1000.
ie 45km*100- ₦4500
1hr plus 10mins- ₦1000
Total- ₦5500.

This is just a rough guide esp for Lagos, you will know at a glance if the fare is doctored or not.
For Abuja, you can use the rate of Bolt as a benchmark. That way, you won't rush all trips.

Since u have been using Bolt, u already have a fair knowledge of how much each side of town should cost from where u r. So use that format and u will be fine...resist the temptation to always increase the price the rider fixes, except the ones u find on the list that other drivers have rejected.

Easiest way for me to know is:

1. When the amount is odd e.g 1875, 3750, 1115 etc. This happens mostly when the rider input a price extremely below the recommended price so Indriver will suggest raise to a certain (odd) amount.

2. When I see the Km to destination. A 45km trip in Lagos on Indriver is about 5400-/+ depending on the traffic condition and demand (surge). Indriver always add extra 900-/+ to the fare/km. I.e if 45km is calculated as #4500 add 900, you get #5400
