I've come across more than 3 adults who were pregnant without even knowing until it was about 4-5months and one of them is likely going to put to birth next month. University Degree (distant learning, evening, weekend or sandwich) programmes do not require sitting for UTME.

Polytechnics evening and weekend programmes do not require UTME.

School of health/nursing/midwifery do not require UTME.

The list goes on, same certificate with UTME candidates. Unless you tell person.

Just go to the institution CCE (center for continuing education) or nearby sec sch, buy form & resume.

Being in her (& ur) position might find this option best for her to work and support herself while schooling and nursing the baby through infant and toddler stage that it needs the mother most.

@op, I understand how distressing the situation can be at the moment especially how it happened right under your nose. What has happened has happened, it's not the end of the world. After her pregnancy, she can still continue her schooling and do whatever she wants to do. Gone are the days when unwanted pregnancy can stop one from furthering their educations. This is the time she needs enough care, love and support. If you can do this for her, she will be grateful and it will stir up a seed of greatness within her because it's the nature of humans to express their best abilities if they're shown unconditional love and affection especially if they're undeserving of it. There will always be that feeling of indebtedness within them that pushes them on.

So, embrace it as part of life and move on. Isn't it interesting how the extremes of two sides of life can be at consonance with one another. You had to wait eight years before you had a child. Your maid didn't even have to get married before she had one. Life is not fixed in stone and anything can happen. Even the most taugt lady or most supervised lady can choose to rebel and get pregnant. No one has 100% control over anyone. Then examined her and her suspicion became heightened as she saw a remarkable changes, her bra can't fit any longer, her bellybutton was out with black line running down! That morning, we didn't go to work for the day. we grilled her with questions. She confessed to us that she had intercourse only once in the month MAY yet she was still seeing her monthly menses. That she had a boy friend whom they secretly communicate on phone every day. That she lost her virginity to the boy. And they did it only ones in less than 30 minutes as she came back to check the kids who were still sleeping in the afternoon.

The boy came to visit her grand mother who return from the USA, she refused traveling to the East due to insecurities and rented a flat opposite my compound for just 3 months from March to June. During her stay, all her children and grandchildren came to visit her. It was one of her grand son that lured my maid and took advantage of her innocences.

We contacted the boy on phone and told him what happened, he denied it that it is impossible for him to be held responsible that he had sex with her only once and that's not enough to get a girl pregnant! I swear,i could have dealt with him fatally if he were within my reach. Well, i was able to comport myself and explain to him in details after which he kept quiet. He is just 20 years old awaiting admission. We have informed the girl's mother too who became shock and cold! And asked her daughter to return back to the village!

Considering this scenario, i came up with the plan to make that boy and family take up the responsibility of the pregnancy, she can't remain with my family anymore so as not draw unnecessary attention. I will track down the boy and his family and file a statutory rape charge against them if all avenue to resolve this case peacefully fail. From Pregnancy to child care is no joke. My people that is no joke at all. I feel very bad and compassionate for the innocent young girl who will be forced to sacrifice her future to be in the family way.

I know how painful it is to have a child under your roof get pregnant without you knowing. Few things I will like to point out here:
1. The girl comes from a family that none of her siblings was able to finish secondary school.
2. The monther was happy that at least a light is about to shine in the family reason why when she came to see her, she pleaded you allow her stay longer with you people
3. The same thing that didn't allow her other siblings finish school has to strike in another way, by getting her lured by the boy to ge into sex which now resulted to pregnancy.........still that siege of no one must be educated.
4. You and your wife are the Deborah and Joshua sent to help this family through the girl to end that siege ans set a new path for the family.
5. To make a good end out of this will not be easy but it is achievable if and only if you and your wife will see this as a divine assignment from God to deliberate a family.
6. Dont change your mind regarding training the girl to university.
7. Get her to the village and take all responsibility regarding the delivery of the baby then ensure that the girl gets back to school and see her through school
8. The new baby should not be neglected, always reach out and get across stuffs for her upkeep (Like I said, this isn't gonna be easy but if you and your wife see it as a service unto God, heaven will sustain you both and make this a great testimony)
9. Pray for God to give you and your wife grace to deliver this project as I know within the next 4yrs to 6yrs when you and your wife look back you will be grateful to God.
10. Draw the girl close and assure her of your commitment to her future but let her know the plan for her to go have the baby in the village after which her education will still be pursued. She must get this assurance so that she doesn't out of no hope end up into another wrong vampire .
God will help you and your wife and this will be a project you will deliver with faith in God and to the shame of the devil.

Few months ago, our 19 year old live-in maid ran off with a 20 years old boy. She packed and moved to a ghetto here in PH because of "love"

Thank God we were able to track her, got her arrested and bundled her back to her family in Ijora, Lagos where we brought her from.
