3 years ago I was basically a King from 2018 to 2019. I was doing my MBA in Zurich Switzerland, the most expensive city in the world. I was young at 24 to 25 years. Before that I was in Malaysia doing a levels and Bsc between 2010 and 2017 plus gap years I took.

Malaysia is less expensive than Switzerland but its not really that cheap because I lived in the capital (Kuala Lumpur). 2 of my sisters were also studying together with me. All financed by my father

All funded by my late father. My school fees in switzerland was 33,000 swiss francs and 25,000 swiss francs for living expenses for 1 year. Together everything then was about almost 40 million naira for a year.

While I was there I didn't try to find a job until it was too late (permit was expiring). Before that I'd never worked a day in my life before.

Basically I lived a life of luxury and everything came crashing down

I left switzerland in December 2019, didn't finish my MBA. No funds. Dad's burial took almost everything . family was in so much debt. Its crazy

Dad died few days I was supposed to leave for switzerland (he was old enough 95 years).

Anyway countdown three years later. I'm doing POS business in Lagos. I tried dispatch business but I stopped after 6 months unable to find quality riders and the Daily headaches.

Back to your question on grace to grass.

I used to travel a most every 2 weeks when I was in Switzerland. I've been to France, Germany, London, Dubai for holidays before and now I do a POS business. Its funny because i could be insulted by people wey never cross third mainland bridge before in tjis POS business but it makes me laugh though. I don't beat myself up.

If I tell people say I from.Switzerland, dem no go believe.

Tried to get a job but no positions.

I regret certain things I did. I was too comfortable that I didn't even try to get a job until it was too late.

I regret certain actions. I wished I could change things but I've moved on. Om working hard to see what I can do to rebuild. I believe if God gives me life I can go back to my former lifestyle with improvements

I'm trying to see if I can go back cheaper place like Canada or others, getting help from sister.

Picture attached was my swiss visa.

Bro...you asking this question shows you are currently facing a lot like 95% Nigerians. It has gotten to a point where living souls jealous the dead. People are not afraid to commit suicide, but the pressure afterlife that awaits anyone that kill himself is what makes it difficult. On grace to grass issue, life isn't like a bed of roses. What makes you fall to grass makes another one to fall into grace. Some people with good background started the life with an advantage due to them having someone that will guide, guard them, someone that always have their backs. This writer didn't know his mother , no siblings of maternal blood that I know of, which cost the writer so many things You cannot compare my achievement with someone that have a good mother at his back. There was a time I made some money, wanted to build a house, due to high rate of land grabbers in where I reside , I met my uncle, highly revered in my state, gave him money to get me a plot of land. I had it in mind that with him, everything will be smooth less I forget, he works in URP..urban and regional planning, this year make it 7th year I gave him 600k ..I no see land ooo.
Now tell me, would my mother have done such?
I can boldly that I'm one of the most current person in the Russian/Ukraine war...WHY?
I just want to hear that a nuke has been detonated and there is counter attack , with that, the end of the world will be near and faster than thought..

Honestly let the world end, so things giving human beings different problems , barrier and difficulties end with the world

Exactly said by someone that our life is like a book. As some chapters are sad, some are happy, Some are exciting. But if you never Turn the page, You will never know what the next chapter holds. You and only you are the creator of this amazing book… that's why we need to just enjoy every moment of life. We should have an aimful life. Achieve your aims by hard work and sheer dedication. Always create beautiful memories with family, friends.

Keep on helping others whenever needed. Try to be a good person so that at old age.. when you will be reading this book of memoirs of your own life you feel satisfied. Then you will feel proud, and really happy and come to know that yes!.. This is life and real meaning of life…That moment will be the best!!! Life is like a book and every book has an end. No matter how much you like that book you will get to the last page and it will end. No book is complete without its end. And once you get there, only when you read the last words, will you see how good the book is.

It is a 50 % fit analogy. Let me explain the 50% part where it fits perfectly. Our life story unveils, just like a book takes us through its story. You might have no idea what comes next in some cases, maybe you can accurately predict what comes next, or in other cases, your predictions might be completely wrong., just like how life is. But you definitely have to keep reading( keep living) to know the entire story. And there is no way you can change the part you’ve read, like you can never change the past.

I was not poor nor very rich but I was ok. In 2018 I made 8.6million after graduation in 2015. I bought my first car (toyota corolla 2005 model). Life happens positively to me. I became the first to own a car in my family. Before now I got married in 2014 n we are blessed with 3kids. Wahala started in 2020 during covid-19. I did a contract with a state government n the project was later abandoned. No payment till date. I made few financial mistakes through wrong investment and sourounding my self with fake and wrong people. In mid of 2021 my dad's health became a challenge. His condition finished the remaining money and in November that year he died. I started thinking of suicide. My wife withdraw her respect 80% from me. I began to struggle. Move from church to church.
In order to alleviate the situation, a friend of mind connected me to people that do sales contract jobs. There was no money so I had to buy black market money (250,000) at 30% interest rate. To return capital and interest once after 120days. By this time my late dad is in the monk. I stayed for more than 3month no job nor contract. My BP began to rise. Suicide thought increase but whenever I set my eyes on my beautiful children tears roll down and I change my thought. In summary I have to sale my car to pay part of the debt n some for my dad's funeral which held in the second quarter of this year. Am still indebted to where I bought money. Till now I don't have a job. Most times I stayed indoor for month. Am only surviving through my late dad's small pension. It last only two weeks.
I have waec, bsc incase anyone can help me with a job. I can work anywhere in nigeria including borno state. Life is very difficult without money as a family man.

Have you applied for NGOs job, especially the ones concentrated in the North since you are willing to go there.

Go to LinkedIn and create a profile, follow NGOs like UNICEF, WHO etc. They'll send you postings and job openings. Good luck buddy, it shall be well.

Aaaah... I know that level very well, I have been there several times, sometimes due to my wrong choices, other times due to human wickedness because I just wanted to help a brother, but you know like they say, it's not how many times you fall that matters but your ability to rise up again that counts, and in order to remain standing, you must first make sure you keep your power house (i.e your mind) healthy, by thinking the right thoughts and also you need spiritual backup and upliftment to keep the spirit alive and hopeful.
Most of all avoid privatisation ( success killer).
Learn from your mistakes
Be disciplined
Be focus minded.
Being down is painful and the desire to rush out of it immediately leads to more frustration and failure, take time analyse where you are at that moment and work out a plan to get out of it, taking one day at a time, in a short while, you will back on your feet.
I thank God that I learnt my lessons and am standing back on my feet, better, stronger and more experienced

cool
