She doesn’t need to include CAC if this happens to be the case right?

I mean, if she pays herself salary monthly, what documents does she need to provide in that regard?

Just need a clearer view on this

I think the applicant need be sure of what they want, he is saying two things ,and needs clarity on them.

He has said his mum is not retired, that means she is still working. In that case, she can present her pay slips/statement, while her son stands as sponsor for the trip.

He also said, his mum does business, in that case, she needs to present a cac document to substantiate.

You can travel back to Nigeria with an expired passport, whilst outside the country. Make sure you travel before your visa expires, and be sure to arrive without issues in Nigeria.

Please I need knowledge. My passport expires in April. Can I travel to the UK for about 10 days in February next year without issue. I have already booked for a renewal but I doubt if it will be ready before my trip.

yes and being inexperienced in this field, I can't tell if the account is choatic or I'm probably just scared. The money I'm referring to as "bulk sums" may not even be bulk at all. I just need someone to take a closer look. But if it's not possible, then that's fine, I totally understand

You can blurt some vital informations on the statement, such as account name, number, bank etc and post the document here.

I’m sure you will get help

You would need a cac even if you were paying yourself income as a business person in my own opinion.
The cac demonstrate you have a business and perhaps occupational tie to your home country.
Whilst paying or earning income from the business demonstrates your financial security in regards to the business.
Some way you could pay yourself is create a business account for your business, and pay yourself salary/wages monthly from the business account on a specific date of every month, also you can make a payslip of your business, where you indicate amounts you earn and other ways possible.
However, it is wise I stress all above are done with all genuineness.

Hope that helps.

Ok, understood now

There is this misconception about ist timers going for 6months visa.

It all depends on your profile. If eg you are working in a bluechip company like exxonmobil, chevron, etc with good cashflow...u can do 2yrs as a first timer,

My first uk visa was for 2yrs, even though i wasnt working in a blue chip company, but my place of work get small weight and i had good cashflow....some yrs later my spouse also did 2yrs as a first timer with me as sponsor against the advice of people..and she was succesful as well...

But if u no get mind, or your profile no too strong, just jeje go for 6months .

As per docs.
1.payslip 6months
2.bank statement 6 months
3. Hotel accomodation booking.
4. Marriage cert if applicable.
5. Nice cover letter including your itinerary/places of interest you plan to visit

Well, from time memorial and as japa and travel remains, and going by some refusals posted on here a kobo additional fund received by an applicant which is more than stated monthly&yearly income could and have sometimes been perceived as ill-funds by an eco, hence your worries are legit.

I strongly suggest if for example you declare that mum earns #300000 monthly from her business, #3600,000 yearly(supposedly) every other income or funds shes received within this period, try to explain the source(s) and its purpose(s). Likewise you are expected to do so for outflow.

You know, this is an election time, some parties doing campaign with bullion van, some give away for upkeep, to avoid the eco thinking money laundering, lodgement, padding or financial romancing; just offer explanation where possible and necessary.

Otherwise, just wait few more months whilst you make things simpler and schedule the trip for a later time.

You are very right. I was refused because they said there were irregularities in my bank statement. Even though I explained in a cover letter, they still said I did not show how the funds were accrued.

I just said Una Dey mad, how else do they want me to proof how the funds were accrued when I already explained in a cover letter

Though permissbale, universities do not usually issue CAS 2 months before the programme start date. Evem if they do, the earliest your visa will be issued for will start (1) month before your course start date which is August. This means you cannot travel before august. As for the job part, still NO. You need to collect BRP, get an enrollment letter after registration, get a Tax number, open a bank account etc, before job.

Good day guru in the house. I planned to relocate to UK with my spouse this January with study visa. But could not as the admission for the schools we wanted to apply have closed for January 2023 intake. My question is if I apply for September 2013 intake and admission become successful, will they grant us visa to travel like say March or April or May to settle down before September. If yes, can we be allow to work before school resumption since we enter with school visa. Thank you.

Travel before your visa expires. That is the koko. If your passport expires while outside Nigeria, You can fly back and get it renewed. Immigration will allow you exit and enter with no hassles. Simple

My birthday is coming up last week of January and I'm thinking of going to the UK for holiday.
I'm into tech and I work as a contractor for 3 companies and 1 as a full-time employee. There are all international companies. I'm confused about how to go about the pay slip because I recently just started the full-time position but part of the requirement for a standard visit visa is the past 4 months' pay slip. I can ask one of the 3 companies for an employee later but they all pay my salary via Deel so I'm not sure if that's acceptable.
there is no rush. Any documentation to support your case, get it

Good evening beautiful people, kinda worried about the time frame of standard visitors visa. I did my bio on september 22 and no word from them, tracking still on DMC even though it is my 5th renewal . A friend of mine did bio on 17 october and was called for collection mail today. How are they doing this application? And hers was VI too. Nawa
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by hunee: 10:20pm On Nov 04, 2022
October 17 - Monday
September 22- Thursday
The other person - October 17 - Monday
Don't you think that applications submitted on first days of the week are usually promptly attended to?
I advice you hold for response from them.

Is your friend a first time applicant or she is also renewing? Her center is VI , I believe and you?

For others planning on submission, i have been carefully studying the dates , you may want to choose Mon/Tues for Standard Processing.
Just an observation, if anyone has other opinions , Kindly advice the enquirer.
