Nobody ask or force anybody to be a Lecturer, let those crying contest for ordinary LG Chairman seat and see if it's given on a platter of gold. ASUU reached an agreement with FG during their strike in Covid period before it was suspended and FG didn’t honored it, same for the 2018 strike. I ask you again were they holding a gun over FG’s head? Why is FG not honoring the terms of their agreements?

So it's not about the increase in salaries anymore but the payment platform, okay.
They demanded and insisted on a payment platform yet almost all if not all lecturers have already enrolled into IPPIS.
Ignorant Citizens with slave mentality who believe employees have no right to demand for anything at all from their employers. In good countries employers are afraid to treat their employees anymore because they know they will be held accountable for any mistreatment.
Most Nigerians employers including the federal government hold employees at ransom with meager salaries and overwhelming workloads meant for at least two people but still expect no protest because they know how desperate people are for jobs so they threaten them with dismissal if they dare to try to fight their slavery. Fellow citizens in all their ignorance criticize them for attempting to break the barrier.

I over heard an advert on radio today of one Ugandan International University. It was ran with impunity. Uganda of all places advertising their Uni in Nigeria! I imagine a lot of Nigerian intending students would want to go there considering all these ASUU wahala. FG should pay the lecturers 1 month full salary and nothing more. The 8 months arrears should not be paid. So that next time they will think twice before embarking on selfish strikes.

You seem like an adult so I will be cautious with my comment. I was in Moscow for a year before coming here. Apart from the extreme cold, life is beautiful here, far far ahead Moscow. Things are way more expensive than in Moscow but there are jobs too. I got two jobs in just ten days of being here. Both pay about 40k rubles a month which is way above 700k in naira.

I came to Russia because it is the most affordable at the moment, my parents paid for the trip with black market dollars not PTA we all know how Nigeria is.
