There are not many players I've wanted to succeed as much as I wanted Donny to. I've just had to accept that its not happening. We need to get rid asap because he's probably due a contract renewal soon. We better not try it.

I think 120k is too much for a midfielder with such an atrocious touch. I’m ok with him staying if we can get him on a short contract with reduced wages

I want this guy to succeed so much it's hurtful that he is playing this badly. I think he has done 2.5 years out of 5 years on his contract.

Before we bought him I already noticed his limitations. While debating with Kagawa I made mention of his low passing stats in a possession based team like Ajax. I however didn’t expect him to be such a ghost.

Mejbri’s temperament has improved slightly recently but I suspect it won’t get much better. He doesn’t need to be a saint to succeed and there have been a good number of hot headed stars who made it in football.

Temperament aside he is taller, stronger, faster, and more skilful than Fred. If he gets minutes his decision making will also improve. It would be a travesty if players like McFred are the ones blocking Hannibal’s path to the 1st team.

Doc I doubt Hannibal is in anyway ready for the first team from what I've seen. He still needs a lot of improvement from tactical discipline to mental discipline.

He said quite a lot not just on Donny but on other players like Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Martial, Ronaldo, Garnacho etc.

Tbh I've not watched him at all this season. Was making my judgment on what I've seen from him in previous seasons. Glad to know he's improving and gaining vital first team experience not just sitting on the bench.
