my problem with Amad is that he's easily bundled off the ball. Pellistri has the same issues. it will take something extraordinary for people like to succeed on the flanks in this team.
it's one of the few drawbacks for Sancho as well.

He has gotten better over the past couple of weeks after his initial struggles. Fernandez, Laird, Mejbri are doing even better. Overall, this is probably our best loanee season in a long while.

i think Rodrigo Bentacur of spurs will be a good buy. He's a wonderful footballer. Plays as AM, box to box, mezalla, winger, DM, CM, can play with both feet. What do you think?

Another season on loan for Amad, Fernandez and Mejbri will do a lot for their development and we could also get good money for anyone we decide to sell ala Garner.

The only problem is another season on loan for Mejbri might mean another season of McFred, unless we buy another pair of CMs to compete with Casemiro and Eriksen and then offload Eriksen when Mejbri comes back in 2 seasons. I agree with the overall sentiment of a premier league loan for all 3 next season though.

We didn't get good money on Garner. We messed up on that deal.

Preston North End. Playing really well. The main issue is that they play with wingbacks not full backs. Also, i am still not convinced about him as a long-term LB for us because even though he is excellent on the ball his lack of pace could be a real problem in the EPL.

You are right. Amad's lack of strength and acceleration with the ball could be an issue. He has good technique and intelligence. If our team ever gets to the level of co-ordination of Man City those drawbacks can be covered up, but until then players like Rashford, Garnacho etc who can accelerate against opponents will always have the edge.

Bruno Guimaraes might actually be world class or about to become one. The talent is there.

Good player but i am not sure he would be the right fit as a CM under ETH. I have not really seen him play as a DM since Hojbjerg is the one that plays that role. Spurs will rob us blind in terms of transfer fee anyway.

He should be a better CM option on the bench than Fred of course. I am just shamelessly still hoping that FDJ comes next season.
