So painful..I cried my eyes out yesterday, have been going for this particular interview since last month, I have been called to that place like 7times in wuse2, from one stage to another. The secretary called me on Wednesday that madam will like to see me,she assured me to get prepared for medicals and all...she told me to be there by 10:00am, I came and was told to wait till 3:00pm before I could see her, of course I patiently waited for her..las las I no get the job didn't know when tears effortlessly flow down from my eyes...I stood there and taught about soooo many things ranging from the transportation I have spent on this particular interview alone ... I kept singing not to break down on the road.
Sorry about that... Better days ahead

I applied for sterling graduate trainee program. I got through 5 stages. At the final interview with the head of HR they told us this was just a routine chat, and we were 99% in. After the interview, they never called me back. After about 2 months, they sent a rejection mail. It was the most painful experience I've had with job rejection because it was a dream job for me and I invested a lot of time, energy and other resources to get to that final stage. I've recovered from the shock, but I was depressed for weeks!

depression is killing me, i tried alot of jobs but i could not secure any, now i even have phobia and i feel hopeless.

The only business i could have put in which is selling of petrol, kerosine and engine oil failed because its will cost atleast 20k to start.

How do i go about this please brothers and sisters?

Firstly, how's your CV looking like?
Secondly, what are your skill sets and experience? Are your skills well aligned to the position you're applying for?

When they give you some hurdle shit, you better run coz they will just train you straight, when you apply!

If they need your help, they will cut through the bullshit.

Please any one that do not keep to time, give them an hour tops, then LEAVE!

Life is really hard. Right now i'm awake looking at my 2 kids and wife. We were able to eat the only meal by begging. Lord have mercy, i know i'm not lazy. It just that my salary is very poor. By Monday they will be sent back home due to unpaid fees. I don't want to give up but i'm depressed. I have prayed but no response, i'm even doubting God right now. Even if i'm a sinner, should my children go hungry? I'm owing debt here and there, can't walk freely.

Failure is a major component of success. Don't limit your option to just one business.
Try new things. Let money making motivate, forget everything else you've been taught.

You need to pick your Bible and read

Jeremiah 29:11
2 Corinthians 4:18
Romans 12:12
Romans 15:4
Psalm 147:11

You have a bright future, that job was never meant for you. Something bigger is coming, rejoice and be prepared for it.

Be careful of people who are promising to help you so that they will not carry more to your wahala. As a woman, there are lots of legitimate Jobs and work you can do.From your previous thread, you mentioned you're a school certificate holder. You need skill acquisition, learn trade eg soap making, cream or hair dressing, computer etc. Here in Lagos, most local governments are training people less than 2k for six months. You can also do Petty trading eg selling of sobo, kunnu,or pure water,or work in biscuits company etc. You can also be selling Fry potatoes with stew near to your house at a popular spot. With 5k,you're good to go. As regards to skill acquisition you can check my e- mail address, l will help.Good luck. Finally, pls don't kill yourself o, becos millions are suffering same.Be God goodness.

Believe me when I say that there is no terrible feeling that to be rejected so many times for jobs that you are even qualified and have experience for. It's so painful. But what can you do? Keep trying hard. I'm also in this same shoes. It has not been easy trying to survive. It's only because of home training that has not made me to throw caution to the wind and do illegit stuff for money. It's so tough without a means of income, especially for a man.

Try look for any small firm and render free service to upgrade yourself.

That sounds good in theory but considering the state of the economy, maybe not. People need to eat and at least be semi-comfortable on weekends.

Doubting God is a choice. But know that hard times will pass and if you have no faith, it means when you have resources, you won't remember God.
Every person who succeeded did so after hard time. If they have believe God was fake, they would have failed
