Very surprised US would commit such huge amount that will be stolen by this government and its cronies.

Complete waste of money.

The USA election was rigged third world style but with voting machines
They want to replicate that in Nigeria. But it won't work In Jesus name.

Those Nairaland-based fools who support Russian invasion of Ukraine shouldn't forget to tell us how much Russia is bringing to support Nigeria's elections.

In truth, education helps people to learn how to read, write and think, but it doesn't get rid of outright stupidity or sheer ignorance. Our world is safer under the United States than any other country.

You make sense

You should be more worried that a foreign country is interfering in and funding the electoral process of the most populated black country on earth.

Stop celebrating election meddling by America, this was the same America that spent 4 years of Trump blaming Russia for meddling in their election which they feel gave advantage to Trump in 2016.

How many roads or schools have US paid for its construction in Nigeria?

#21.6 billion is the exact security vote allocation to Akwa Ibom in 2020 (which is different from the regular FAAC allocation) and governors are not accountable to anyone or the public for security votes.
Benue State receives #31 billion as security vote only annually.

Nigeria isn't broke - it's just mismanaged.

Hmmm What's the catch? That's the question we should be asking... Instead of celebrating. Cos US is alot of things but obviously not a 'good Samaritan'

America is a blood sucking parasite... As far as they are concerned? Nothing goes for nothing!

If you think they care about us that much to spend their taxpayers money on our "Negroid" ass and gain nothing greater in return then you should think again.

I can't trust the west for any reason.

From slavery to colonization... etc They have proven to be vultures that only survive off other people's carcass!

So whats the catch?

You are well informed....remember when they predicted Nigeria will break up whether na 2005 or 2015 can't remember.....then they started funding boko haram reportedly. It's reported that in Nigeria they fund boko haram and iswap. In mali France funded and secretly supports the terrorist groups there according to Malian authorities....in Syria the west supports terrorist groups there....

The most shocking thing is "terrorists" almost always only spring up in African countries making progress....Nigeria and South Africa the two largest economies in Africa incidentally have "terrorists."...hmm

Your world is safer under US right? it seem you're illiterate of history, which reflected in your response to this post.. Go and traced sources of Afghanistan, Iraq, Venezuela, Libya crisis and many other countries, the same US that practice democracy within their country but dictatorship out side America, self acclaimed police of the world that doing cho, cho, cho in internal affairs of other countries. Just for the interest of suppression of those nations under her hegemony.

Giving out money didn't indicates that the spender is having good intention for the country receiving it, it all about foreign policy which base on targeting some things to get in returns. Our world is not safer under US, it is safer in the hands of God.

I was trying to educate you but you are stûpid. I'd teach you regardless.

Here's a list of countries with the biggest debt profiles. Nigeria isn't top 25 but the U.S. is number one at $24 trillion. China is number 6. In fact, the U.S. is owing China more than $1 trillion.

United States is part owned by Black, I don't understand why any African countries will support Russia or China over USA except it is for the benefits of that African country.

Of all the countries USA has invaded, it has never invaded an African country of Black population or any country outside of Africa with Black dominated population.
