@ the bolded..anything based on "chance" makes luck to be involved...

Whether mathematics oooo , whether English ooo , whether statistics oooo , gambling and luck cannot be separated....it is called "gamble " for a reason...

Lol "Chance" That is what bet9ja and casinos want you to believe so that you can systematically stake your whole life on bets...

It looks like chance or luck... But underneath it all... its all mathematics rigged in their favour.....the government can't stop bet9ja or casinos becos Taxes must be paid and money must be made.......Gamblers end up poor while casinos and bet9ja end up rich, over and over again the cycle goes..... There is nothing like chance in gambling

That is why I would never advice anyone to Gamble... The game has been rigged against you

During this bear market, I will achieve my goal of having
1) 1 round BTC
2)2 round ETH
3) At least 100 solana
4) 40 pieces of $Tsla
5) 1000 of another thing I won't mention

And that's all, I do not care if anybody is making ×1000, lol. I just want to preserve my capital and mental health now

The maths is hard and those that get it are usually banned from casinos. https://abcnews.go.com/Primetime/story?id=131939&page=1 - this article explains how a group of folks at MIT gamed casinos playing blackjack in the 1990s using maths and computer modeling. Members of the team were trained for months before they executed their plan.
The fact that sth is too difficult doesn't mean they aren't people wey dey use that thing chop sweet. If you have the time to design computer models and test it, good luck to you in betting. If not, better to work wherever your skills are best suited.

If it's not luck, then...

How come you don't always win? ....

This is too long

When I believed in luck, things were very ugly for me. I'm talking about winning any and everything until you bet something against it, then, come see failure! I was the least at everything, I kept trying to make things work believing that each person could only go as far as luck lets them, in my head, we were on a queue and one day e go reach me. I was so wrong.

I was so broke in my NYSC days that my whole family (over 6 people ) depended on my allawee cheesy - yes, I had to send my allawee back home for family upkeep! what kind of yeye luck can anyone get from that one? mtcheew.

We are defined by WHAT we do, not words.

I started following the villagers to go ogbolo hunting at 12 am grin - a stranger. grin
A very old woman who could barely walk came along with us. She wasted our time; she was slow.
On one particular night she asked me, Corpa why you dey follow us come this kind place sef? (same question I had in my mind for her).

I told her everything.... very long story ,how I couldn't get lucky at anything, including basketball or volley ball scholarship for the US, most my mates did......
She listened for so long, told me a long story of her own and said even though she worked so hard as a lady she had married a person that she was asked not to cause of the genes. Now ,after raising the kids and sending them to the best schools, they are all dead and she had to raise their babies and make sure they don't make the same mistakes she did. "I saw this, but I thought I was very lucky cause I was doing better than everyone in my family......."

That Night she said to me. "Life does not get worse, It only gets better shocked. " look into the mirror, there is a man in there as long as he is good with you, his fellow man, God, and have plans, life gets better. "Corpa nothing be luck eeee!, leave that talk ,everybody get the same luck but na different chance ( opportunities) we get," as you nor get money, you get time, spend your time in looking for the things that would make you better, the place you find yourself na where you go start , anything else na how you plan am. Give money, give advise, give your ears, give kindness, give love, give emotions. HAVE RESPECT TO EVERYONE YOU MEET OR NEVER MEET. "make everyone cheat you pass as you dey go, life go dey better. Only be say some people go move faster than you, that one nor mean say luck nor dey your side. Na two people dey write for your book of life, Only two birrow dey work inside that book, one na you hold am the other one na baba God, only you and him fit write, clean am and write una story again"

I did not go to the bush again but I could not look to myself in the mirror either, talk more of saying any "nonsense"to myself about "no luck' - cause I knew that both myself and my reflection in the mirror understood the severity of that poverty cheesy. I cried every time I tried to accept that we all have equal luck haha - even now, practically too stubborn to accept. I did not want to try and believe it.

Haha
Less than 10 years later, after much suffering......... cheesy
I am writing this with tears in my eyes, she has passed away.
I cannot even give her money or tell her that it is true .

If it's not luck, then...
How come you don't always win?

You don't have enough capital.
Fear and greed.
No enough patience.
Plan did not tally.
You don't make the game.
Some people are scammers too. FTX was trading against customers! How could you win that! - Binance too!

How come the bookmakers are still in business?
They have money.
They have time.
They have connections.
They make the games!

How come more of them are still coming out?

They want more money, in fact, power.
They have more time.
They are looking for fun.
They have more connections.
They make more games!

The only problem we have are distractions, shortcuts, and comparisons. If you know all the hard ways (difficult options) that you have to come out of poverty, if you can focus, you would come out of poverty. It is time that is the main value, time.

We're talking about betting, strictly...not about your life history (which is dependent on your choices and decisions).

What does it mean when your plans don't work out?

And whose money did they use to get richer?

Dude, we're only talking about "betting".

If I'm to tow your path...

So one roadside mechanic was in his shop (in which gutter and curvet demarcate his shop and the main road) working, only for 911(mack) trailer to skid off the road, jump both the curvet and gutter and crush him to death.

What will you say?...he was careless and wasn't prepared well enough?

Lack of experience, hence his death?

No, That is the truth, ask me anything. I will tell you. I wont hide anything.
There is nothing to it. Haha. I was broke, i accepted i was broke and served served everyone, I contacted people for help- not only money is help, knowledge is better than money sef. I have money more than most now.

I am now away from Nigeria, in healthcare and all - na me sponsor myself- something impossible for someone my type, na still person give me info, not money.

So let me ask you something. As I dey now, people dey laugh me so for my crypto, all this money we are melting away, I am still contacting my bosses every now and them to ask if I am on track oo. People wey love me sef don dey vex cause they "know" I am stupid with this yeye crypo, if anything make bulls return wey money blast everywhere in my life. If i say it is crypto I made my money from. Would you say it is luck, or would you say I swindled anyone?

Before you answer, CZ- Binance sold his apartment to buy BTC. Which blood money is bigger than that one? cheesy

Was he then unlucky to be there at that time? If his son/ neighbor came around and asked him for spanner, if he stepped into the store or elsewhere to grab spanner, it could have crushed the son/neighbor and not him. Then what would we call that?

If you bought Solana at 33 USD, and you lost now, if you buy more at 3.5 USD and it survives, becomes 550 USD, what do we call that?
How about if it remains at 0.002 forever? cheesy
Do we not all see this from here?

I don't know if you comprehend things, seriously

I'll take it that you're excited (today is Sunday and you might have done one or two).

How come you're bringing "unlucky" into the context...I thought you said there was no luck, just plans, and commitment.

To answer your question...Yes, he was unlucky. Had he survived, what do you think people wiLL say? Plan? Preparation? Commitment? Or Luck?

Did his son/neighbor make any plans to evade the accident? Was he prepared for it?

The answer is no, it just happened by chance and anything that happens by chance has everything to do with "PURE LUCK".

You keep contradicting yourself but I'm glad you said " Survive" because there's no guarantee SOLANA will hit such a price which now begs this question...

What is Survival in this context, if not " Pure luck and "Chances"?

ENOUGH SAID!!!

My suggestion of "unlucky" was rhetorical but you are very correct, I am very happy and idle today. cheesy

I don't wish to argue cause I understand how it feels to change ones mind and mentality.

But why should the son prepare to evade that accident, we were only trying to take chances and examining lucks without knowing the expected occurrences - we didn't know about the incoming crash.

Aright, if everything is luck then what happened to the law of natural selection?

Luck is simply psychological, it is the way we see ourselves as a result of outcomes which then affects the way we think and behave.

However, If chance is luck, then let just believe in good lucks so they can come our way. That is it wink.
