I recommend Abuja. Abuja is now issuing counterfoils. So there's no point submitting to VFS Lagos since they'll still submit to their Abuja office anyway before dispatching to the embassy.

I dropped at DHL this morning for Abuja

The processing time is now 12 weeks..You have no control over the processing time/stages so all you can do is wait.
Mails/webforms you send within the processing time may not get a response but you can send them if you wish.
If your app exceeds the processing time without a decision, you can send emails/webforms as often as you want for feedback.

Good luck

Thanks a lot. My processing time has already passed the 12 weeks processing time, this is about the 13th week. How long does it take for some to get responses from them if webforms are sent? Thanks

I submitted same October 14th did upfront October 5th.

Medical is yet to pass. Uggh

I sent you e-mail request.

Fetengrn:
Hello My people,

I want to thank you all for the assistance so far.

I submitted Oct 14 2022
Biometrics completed Oct 17th
Upfront Medical Oct 31st
Medical exam Passed Nov 23rd

I thought Eligibility review should be before the Medical? But it seems to me that Eligibility has not started yet.

Please I have attached an image, I'm not sure of the phase I'm waiting an update for, or what can anyone say about it generally.

Again I appreciate you all.

Many cheers bro. It pays to do good and to give back. I myself learnt from people on here. It’s only best I give back the same knowledge cos the sky is big enough for us all to fly.

Responses are not certain, I sent over 20 when mine hit 15weeks (3 emails/webforms daily at 6:00am excluding weekends) and I never got one response, on the 17th week i got a decision while I was preparing to send another Webform/email as usual.
If you get a response, it will be the generic "we are reviewing your application blah blah blah".

One thing I did notice was that after several Webforms/emails my eligibility review started. This was at 15 weeks and some days.

Keep reminding them.

Good luck.

Your a great guy and always willing to help. Most people that got their PPR later abandoned this thread but you and a few others (I think johnstan and others I can't remember their monikers) still followed the thread advising, helping and encouraging others.
God will bless you and others like you and Canada will favour you in the name of God

@ THRUTHaDDICTED,
You need to go back to the Page 1 of this thread and the previous thread to under stand basic things you need to know about this journey after which you can ask direct questions for responses.

I hope this helps

TRUTHaDDICTED:
Please I've seen it but I don't know if you have the knowledge about my few questions.

Is it still active at the moment?

When someone is nominated, does it mean automatic Visa?

How much minimum do I require to secure a Visa?
I have more questions but anyone who can put my understanding through on these ones should please do

@Aduragbemioluwa,

Each of this notes is less than 5,500NGN from thegcmsonline.com.you can order and pay using your Naira debit card.

I hope this helps.

@Omosikiru1992,

It's not compulsory but make sure you have your LOA/receipts of Tuition fee deposit (incase you're asked at the POE)

I hope this helps

Omosikiru1992:
Hi my people.
Please I would like to know if it's compulsory to have an enrollment letter from my University before I can be allowed to enter Canada point of entry.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Joedave25: 5:23pm On Nov 25, 2022
@Moremore99,

There's no gurrantee for PPR when they request for your proof of accommodation....which is usually rare.

What this implies is that they want to be sure your POF is enough (accommodation inclusive) during your stay.

It also implies you may have informed IRCC through your SOP that you have addressed your living expense or accommodation that warranted request for proof.

Please respond TACTICALLY and within the time allowed.

Wishing you all the best.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Joedave25: 5:28pm On Nov 25, 2022
@Creamz,

IRCC hardly respond to webform/documents sent to them except the first time ever (one-off) in a single application.However, they work on those document either immediately or after couple of days/weeks as the case may be

I will encourage you to keep sending them mails continuously hence your application is past 12 weeks.

I hope this helps.

Oh! Thanks but I still think it's on the high. Most one-way tickets from ABV or LOS to Toronto (for example) that I have seen lately is around 400k - 550k.

First of all, you are very welcome to the family.

Secondly, those terms are abbreviations which represent full meaning to something. If you want to know there full meaning, try using Google.

Thirdly, from your statement, it seems you have POF options. If your sponsor may be willing to transfer the POF to your account, It would be better so you can stand as a self sponsor. But be very careful here with this option. For example you could consider your age and the time you graduated from school or the time difference between when you graduated from university and started working and saving. It is not logical to expect a 17 year old girl who just finished secondary school to have about #20M in her account and says she wants to sponsor herself. The question would be "how did she get the money" when she only graduated few months ago or how can you save up to #20M when you only have 2 years working experience?

So in such situations, it is best you have a sponsor probably your parent or sibling.

Canada always prefer it if you, your parent, partner or sibling could sponsor your studies because it is logical to say that you/they would not allow you to be stranded when you have enough money in your account or their account and as such, that will give them the impression that you would always put your studies first before any other thing which is the main reason why you traveled.

I hope you find this useful.
It will end in praise.

Amen!!!
Thank you very much for your time.

I really appreciate

Most times people order their notes after a refusal to know the exact reason for that, other times it's out of curiosity. It does not have an impact on your application.

If your biometrics and medicals are updated to passed on your portal and your eligibility is yet to start, start sending enquiry/request emails/webforms for a favourable decision to made on your application.

Good luck

You can no longer use naira denominated card over sea as you like.
There is limit with all banks.

The limit is like $10.

As someone over there to pay for you or source black market and open dollar account and then you can pay with your Visa or Mastercard.

Some helped me to pay over there and I credited his naira account. But he charged me N640/$ CAD
