Expert17: This assist was even more impressive for me because it’s much more difficult to execute. The weight of the pass and the direction and swerve must all be perfect. Else the defender might intercept it or it might not put Felix through on goal. The pass completely took out that defender that was close to Felix. E no fit catch am. If he did, his legs would be twisted in an unnatural angle and that would be the last ball he intercepted in his life. |

Iran beat Wales. Japan beat Germany. Saudi defeated Argentina. The playing ground is becoming even. We might get a non European or American winner of the World Cup sooner than we imagine. |

Leyqute: Wales is a nobody. I am not surprised Iran beat them. Iran has been qualifying for World Cup and giving the occasional good performance for years while Wales went decades without getting to the World Cup. afrodoc2: On paper Wales look better than Iran. And considering the fact that Iran swallowed 6 morsels of goals from an above average England side, you can’t but expect Wales to come out on top. Their win isn’t as significant as the other two but it’s still unexpected nonetheless. |

Leyqute: I don’t think so. It’s just that Wales have names that are known from the EPL. Azmoun is better than any Wales player not named Bale, and even Bale sef na ogbon agba e dey use. Tank don empty. None of the Wales players has any real technique. Once you crowd them over na to turn the ball over. They play like a championship side. What they have is agidi and ishan. After that, nothing else. Meanwhile several of the Iranian players have decent technique. They can actually have quick interplay of passes without vomiting the ball like a babe who has not seen her period. |

When Iran beat the USA in 1998 Wales had not qualified for the World Cup in 40yrs, and they didn’t qualify for another 24yrs. That is 64yrs without getting to the World Cup. All European countries are not created equal. 5 Likes |

Borntosmoke:Timing is the most important thing when it comes to break away opportunities. Bruno held on to the ball that long cuz he was confident he'd end up finding the right pass. There was a game this season that Ronaldo really annoyed me. Same situation but he passed it too early to the right. |

eph12: He crosses better than all our wingers bro. I can stake my neck on that. Rashford rarely crosses from the left (he prefers shooting). His crossing from the right is hit-and-miss. Antony’s crosses are often too close to the keeper. Sancho has difficulty even getting space to produce a cross. Early days for Garnacho so won’t say nothing. Gakpo’s crosses have good height and whip on them. Even on a bad day, those are standout attributes. |
