It's the same number I use to contact customer service that I use to call them and also I have confirmed from customer service that it's the same number.
And I can't open a dispute for an order that's in my country

Having spent $6.5 on my naira mastercard between December 1st and 2nd, I can now say categorically that Gtb had stopped their card from working on Aliexpress, as I tried paying for an item of $1.35 but the payment declined...... Down to 2 banks (Zenith and Uba)! ......Like seriously? Oga o!

But this is bad; for all the naira debit card not to be able to be used to transact business online.

You might be jumping to conclusions though ,it might be a hitch. Somebody also posted a communique from stanbic to the effect that a fifteen dollars limit has been instated.

Abeg who get issue of delay to get to asaba since on the 26th my package left Lagos,yet no update,I called customer care and dey said they are working on it yet nothing, meanwhile the one that left Lagos on 30th have even reached Onitsha,I don't understand again oooo

It is the regime, the so called greedy rulers (they are not leaders at all). They want every dollar transaction to pass through their BDC at their BDC rate.

They turned the custodian of CBN to ordinary errand boy as their gatekeeper vault keeper who they order and command to open up the vault at will anytime they want forex in such a crude manner

Also the insane gap between BDC rate and official rate. I don't know if it is only Naija this rubbish is happening. I tell you if the difference wasn't that much, no one will care for the maniac rush for dollar, most of us might probably be buying our gadgets from jumia.

Oh, I didn't look at it from that angle because av never experienced such issues with payments. The 'transaction exceeded' email I received shortly after the failed transaction was the reason behind my conclusion.

They posted a notice of system maintenance this weekend and possibility of transaction failures. So, that might be the reason for the "limit reached" prompt. Dem no wan repeat what happened last year or earlier this year whey it was opened to $200.
