That's the way it should be done...inspect projects unexpectedly,if not completed at the appointed time, fire the contractor with immediate effect...This is what governors should be doing...Sanwo Olu own Na to dey point fingers,puppet governor.

What about all the touts asking for stickers all over Anambra? Disturbing company cars and trucks, very terrible and wicked agberos. They are all over the State. Stop acting like NURTW are the only people that disturbs.

Go read my comments....start from before Soludo took over Anambra. That was the time I started saying Soludo is the boom. That was the time I started saying Ibo should even tell Soludo not to resume as a governor, but as the presidential candidate (just like Atiku). Useless people said I don't know what I was saying.

Now, just take a look at this man. I said it clearly that ibos don't know who they should support. Peter Obi is not the deal. This man is the deal. Use of local engineers does not help us in anyway, I have seen several points they patched and constructed . The Governor ll endup spending money without having the value he paid for. Las Las, the governor ll be accused of constructing substandard roads.

Even the so called standard contractors are equally delaying road constructions. You can see what is happening with the Ibadan Express Road construction. I like the approach of the governor. If their delivery is not at par with the SLA, terminate the contract. This would force every contractor to take their contracts more seriously

Reasons for contract delay varies. You cant compare two contracts. Sometimes, Government don't release funds, or sometimes they don't release funds on time.

A friend got a contract with one FG agency in 2020, and only 20% of the contract sum have been released till date and guess what the job has been abandoned even though he used his money to get the project up to 50% hoping he will be paid, although i advised him against it that time.

I can bet you, it is possible the funds have not been released, and the Governor who knows the contractor has abandoned it will come to site to make the news and people will jubilate, since in this part of the world fighting government is like signing death warrant, contractors cant take matter up in court.

If the Government have paid, cancelling the contract is not the way to go but moving to arrest the contractor and putting them behind bars because its criminal.

In Nigeria, Politicians can never fool me.

That Road leads to the Governor's House and for almost two months the road has been blocked leading to Motorists taking alternative routes. Just recently a lorry loaded with woods fell inside Holy Child Secondary School Isuofia and broke their fence all because of the unnecessary delay of this Company. I was telling someone the other day that the Company is not fit to handle this project.

He should contact Julius berger.
