owner of post...abeg your gateman dan too dey shout because of my comment on mash potatoes judging from how irish tastes here in the backward lands of Nigeria and instead of correcting me he resorted to what he knows how to do best which is bark incoerently like a useless parlour dog .... Anyways my apologies ...if i may ask...can mashed potatoes be made with sweet potatoes too?? or must it be strictly Irish?

I just said what i thought it tasted like, keep in mind sweet potatoes in Nigeria is usually a much lighter colour and not orange....there was absolutely no need to respond aggressively and stupidly... If you are easily triggered by someone's comment on how a dish "might" taste like then step off social media cause you are waay too soft for it.... No be every convo you gats show your life frustration...nothing stops you from enlightening me that the dish tastes delicious actually

You actually don't make sense. Don't rush to talk about a topic you know nothing about. And it's so low of you to stay in one corner and condemn what somebody cooked.

Never tried it so I'm not sure but since you can puree sweet potato for bisque then I would think one can use it for mash potatoes.
