Break first, you only go for the clutch at certain point when the break tend to alter the smooth running of the engine. Going for clutch first can even add to the speed depending on the level of the road eg, when on a sloppy road

To be honest, personally to me, Manual cars are just delightful & fun to drive.....U HAVE FULL CONTROL of Ur driving.....Even if I drive auto cars, I prefer does that have that manual options or triptonics, always use it though their ain't no clutch control but u get to upshift & downshift at ur own leisure to a certain extent

it depends on the speed of motion. If you are on high or medical speed, and slowing down ,depress the clutch first while pressing down of the break with minimum force.. But if itsy just normal speed of less than than let say 10kmh you could just press the break with little pressure slightly applied to slow it down with using clutch. Very possible

Depends on the speed at which the vehicle is moving. If the vehicle isn't going too fast and you break first, then it will jerk and switch off.

If you have to do a sudden stop at let's say average speed, then clutch comes first and then break

That’s in theory though because I have never tried drifting personally. But yes, it’s possible.

This amateur has been driving for over a decade without issue. Do what works for you. All I know is that slowing down is different from parking or bringing the vehicle to a halt. Probably you need to look at the topic again or asked for interpretation.

That's for learners that does not know how to properly engage breaks for different car speed..

For experienced drivers...they mostly engage the clutch when changing gear or when they know the car will need to come to a very slow movement or stationary halt .

If you’re driving a Manual car and you’re on speed you can use the brake only depending on how apt you want to stop if it’s a sudden stop or you’re about moving slow then you press the clutch down, and apply the brake.
While an Automatic car just needs the brake alone.

on manual car your two legs, one leg on clutch and one leg on accelerator. In case of slowing down clutch and break are supposed to be pressed together with clutch being firstly pressed and and a break pressed. On manually car slowing most likely may require you as the driver to change gear (especially of the car is heavy due to loads) that is why clutch very important and due to unforseen circumstances, so the more the clutch and break are pressed the more the car want to stop and the driver gain full control of the steering.
