Zambia is not a bad country, if u have pure intention and her intentions are pure as well then you should go.

Just let her know you aren't financially buoyant, also be will to work as soon as u get there so as not to depend on her for a long time

The only thing that would take me to Mexico is trying to cross border to USA.



It's not kinda easy crossing into the States from Mexico as a black man or woman o and most of the Mexicans crossing into the States keeps hiding up and down. No work without SSN except few backyard jobs and once they're caught, they end up being jailed and they return them to their country after their jail term. Better if crossing from Canada.

Schooling as a foreign student will be more expensive I'm guessing so do u have the bucks?

are there work opportunities or will u go there and become a beggar or nuisance to her?

If you know tech in Nigeria, you can get a good job too. Mexico not better than Nigeria, they only have tourism potential.

Not as simple as that. You can be a good programmer living in Nigeria and no one will employ you. You go apply, you go tire. There are very very few tech jobs in Nigeria. Except you want to be doing freelancing.

When you get closer to the West, you'll have better and direct access to tech jobs.

I once had this issue with a Kenyan friend.

I didn't accept the offer at all.
She told she has a house of her own and sustainable job for both of us but I wasn't ready to leave Nigeria to an other 3rd world country to dependant on a lady

It's not that simple if you're based in Nigeria. I'm speaking from experience. React, node, express, all major databases, I dey run am. Have handled multiple fullstack projects using all those tools as a freelancer. Have even used Python Flask in some projects. Yet, no company dey reason my matter. Abeg, no hype tech o.

If you're in North America, any company in US or Canada will rate you above anyone in Nigeria. You're literally their neighbor.
