mostob:Move from Atletico Madrid to where? ATM isn’t a bad or small Club either, it’s certain that they’re struggling but this move keeee? Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico are the biggest Clubs in Spain.. Is it Levante, Real Sociedad u want her to move to? Or out of Spain..? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 4:55pm On Dec 24, 2022 |
Deltamani:Exactly. Atletico Madrid is a big club but the success of the Barcelona team is practically covering other teams'. As a Nigerian football fan, I really wish and hope to see our players on the podium too. If there should be a list of top ten female players in Spain, more than half will be from Barcelona. EXPOSURE is simply the basis of my suggestion. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 5:06pm On Dec 24, 2022 |
mostob:The implication of that is that she has either has to move to Barcelona or move out of Spain to a top team in England to get the kind of exposure you're suggesting. I really do not think it's necessary. I think Athletico just need a few good players and Ajibade herself also has to up her game, and she'll get all the attention she deserves even with Barcelona dominating. |

lovewins:Yea.... Everything still boils down to her. Improvement in every aspect will automatically attract big teams. Merry Christmas bro |

According to the UEFA Club Coefficient, Olympique Lyonnais is the best club in Europe! The UEFA Club Coefficient is a calculation based on the performance of clubs in the last five UEFA Women's Champions League competitions. ————————————————————————

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 10:48am On Dec 27, 2022 |
isan:Yes no update yet concerning the next FIFA window in February… Any game in January is outside the window not recognized by FIFA.. Again Randy Waldrum haven’t impressed till date, maybe you’re expecting a Miracle or he would probably up his game.. I can’t wait for his Contract to run out.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 10:52am On Dec 27, 2022 |
If NFF can’t get a World Class Coach in the Class of Sarina Wiegman, Pia Sundhage, Martina Voss-Tecklenburg and Reynald Pedros let them work with our top Ex- internationals who are Coaching.. Randy is out of the Equation, Nothing wha he go do wha go impress me again.. |

isan:Blame which NFF, blame the coach, he don't have friendlies to get for us again, ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Deltamani:It's not that we can't effort One, we can both for the SE and SF, The problems had always been who will foot their bills,, Pinnick tried, by getting Oando abi, what's the oil company name Again, to foot both Rohr and Dennerby bills, And even offset those being owed to former coaches,,. In spite of the distractions from Giwa and Dalung, he still keep pushing even after Oando can't pay again due to the economy I can go on and on, But I rest my case here |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 11:03am On Dec 27, 2022 |
Deltamani:It appears a friendly for February has been concluded and will be announced soon. Rumour has it that it's with a North American country and invitations are already been sent to the players club. It's also certain that Randy will be the one to lead the Falcons to the World Cup. If there will be any change at all, it's likely going to be after the event in Australia/New Zealand. |

2023 NWSL MOCK DRAFT Onyi Echegini Possibly round three(3) pick and Orlando Pride look like her next possible home going Pro.. 3.03 – Orlando Pride – Onyi Echegini (Florida State) –MF/F The Mississippi State transfer has played a major role in a transitional Florida State side maintaining their traditional standard of success. An efficient dribbler who can play both as a winger or further back in the midfield on the left side, Echegini’s smooth play can fit into either a possession style or a more up-tempo transition attack. –By jayjaypost

Michelle Alozie recently told Onyi Echegini to come join her in Houston Dash so they can play together.. Hopefully she plays in the NWSL or move straight to Europe. |

Deltamani:Not conversant with how the draft system cum draftees experience is in the NWSL. If it is same as the WNBA, then I'll just advice that she moves to Europe. In the WNBA, even top drafts get cut and do not make the season squad. Not sure we have up to 5 of the last WNBA draft feature last season. I'll love to see her play in a team she's likely to get game time. If she gets that in Houston Dash then the better. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 12:53pm On Dec 27, 2022 |
lovewins:Alozie told her to come to Houston Dash on instagram, But with Draft mock, jayjaypost predicted that she would be picked by Orlando Pride, Legendary Marta of Brazil Club… I really want her to go to where she would get regular game time cus a player of her Caliber don’t need to stay in the bench.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 12:55pm On Dec 27, 2022 |
lovewins:If she’s to go to Europe, the Netherland, England might certainly be her pick as she’s a Citizen of both countries and might want to stay close to her Family.. Anyway seeing her in Spain or France would be great. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 12:58pm On Dec 27, 2022 |
Nicole Payne might join her Sister at Sevilla FC in Spain as she’s always clamoring to play alongside her big sister.. The Draft comes up January 12. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 2:55pm On Dec 27, 2022 |
Deltamani:Is she going pro this next year though? Just checked the list of those who have indicated their intention to go pro next year and hers isn't there yet. |

Deltamani:I thought Netherlands does not allow duel citizens, An example is KINSLEY Ehizibu of the SE |

lovewins:Then Netherlands is out of it for her, And if She move there will be doing so as an Euro citizen |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AkinDS: 12:25am On Dec 28, 2022 |
That's incorrect. Case in point - Tyrone Ebuehi and Troost-Ekong, both of whom have Dutch and Nigerian passports. Kingsley's case was rather complex, as he had applied to the Netherlands and was granted a refugee status, while he later on was granted German citizenship (on the basis of his refugee status). His applying for a Nigerian passport would have jeopardized both his Dutch and German citizenships, something he wasn't willing to do. do4luv14: |

Why is the Netherlands out of it for her? A player can play in any country willing to grant her employment. Afterall, Toni Payne played for Ajax Amsterdam, did she not? do4luv14: |

Valérie Gauvin has joined FC Fleury 91 from Houston Dash. The 26 year-old striker who had been a regular in the French national youth teams since 2012 made her debut at Toulouse FC and then began her professional career in Montpellier. The French international then left the French league in 2020 to move to England. She spent two years across the channel with Everton FC before leaving for the USA, where she had a brief stint with North Carolina Courage and then Houston Dash. “She is a player I have known since 2019. Since she left Montpellier, she has had a few twists and turns in her career. Playing in Fleury could be an opportunity for her to get back to her best before the 2023 World Cup. We have to support each other." - Fabrice Abriel, FC Fleury 91 head coach
