Hello,

I understand your tension, but since your CBSA says approved pending a medical and since you have done your medical, Just go home and start getting ready. Some get their decision mail 2montths after submitting their medical that was requested by IRCC. You're lucky to have seen your approval via your note so don't worry and begin to plan your travel.

Congrats

Thank you grin

Merry Christmas everyone. Please I still need assistance. I'm a graduate of Business management 2007 and working with INEC since 2013. My job description is related to voter education and training and voters registration.
I'm really confused about the course to apply for at PGD level especially as it has to be related to my current job.

I can't go for ICT because it requires foundation either HND or degree in computer studies.

I'm thinking of applying for Educational Leadership in MUN but I'm seeing it's not really related to my current job as I'm not fully on education line and I don't want to waste application fee.

Please guys help me out.

I’ve sent emails to the school before the break without responds. By the time school resumes on 5th, the deadline must have passed.
If I don’t differ and the Study permit comes out late, say 1st week of February, will I not be allowed to catch up, does it really require that I should reapply? Remember, PhD is a research based with about just three courses the entire years which can be registered subsequent terms. Pls am just asking, I need to know more from people’s experience and opinions.
Thanks
.
If you have gotten admission and accepted your admission. The school must have created a student account for you which you can login to . From the few schools I know if you want to defer your admission; you will have to log into your student account to do this.

Schools in Canada with lowest tuition are found in the Atlantic provinces.
Check out universities and colleges in;
Prince Edward island
New Brunswick
Newfoundland and labrador
Nova Scotia.
Good luck.

Hi you might want to research HR related courses since you do training duties, you can tie it up with human capital development. This is just a suggestion, please wait for other contributions

FALSE. The fact is no one can predict IRCC system. Their processes have been designed to be unpredictable, so the duration of eligibility does not guarantee the success or otherwise of the application.

Hello?

It all depends on your program, duration, the province. All put together will determine.

Now for tuition: Tuition varies from school to school.

Duration: the duration of course also will determine.

Province: when I say province, I'm kinda talking about living expenses. Now rent is Toronto and Nova Scotia can't be same for 1bedroom apartment/basement. Even though ircc tags it 10k a year, it doesn't mean that realistically, all province have same living expenses. Another factor to living expenses is tax. Most small cities tends to have high tax than big cities. For eg, Saskatchewan tax is higher than Calgary by 6%. So when buying things in Saskatchewan, you pay more than than when buying same thing in Calgary.

So just do your maths and know if it will be enough.

All the best.

Hello

1). There is nothing like a low budget School in Canada. Just go for the one you can afford. What might by low budget for you might be high for another person and vice versa. So you may need to be specific ok.

2). Go to school of you choice and check their process. Some school accepts application through their verified agent, while some you can apply on your own directly on the School website and some through a special portal from the province. So visit the school an know their application process

3). Go to school of you choice and check their requirements. All the schools don't have same requirements

All the best

Hello Ketima, most business schools in Canada require GMAT or GRE scores. I specifically made reference to University of Manitoba, the programs run by the business schools not limited to MBA require GMAT or GRE.
Ketima:

Hello Lively,

GRE! you may need to be more specific with your question. I don't know if you have provided the info later on, but is the program an MBA or PhD or Master's or PGD? For PGD, masters, you don't even need IELTS so long as you're from an English speaking nation and English was your language of instructions.

For MBA, most school don't even ask for IELTS talk more of GRE. GRE/GMAT is mostly rampant for some PhD programs.

Again, I don't know if you have given the details below, but with your question, no one can give you a concrete and definite answer.

All the best.

I think you need to wait for a mail from vfs that is ready for pickup mine also shows your processed passport has been forwarded to VAC below when tracked but seems it’s still in abuja and yet to be returned to lagos. For those who picked up their passport did you receive a separate mail that it’s ready for pickup

Hello great minds.
I need advice on my case. I submitted my study permit on May 6th 2022. Medical passed Oct 17th. Am yet to get info from Irrc.ca. when I did sent enquiries, I got replies that so many back log that I should be patience. However, I have being attending classes on line , not easy because the classes start by 1am to 6am 4 days a week. It been challenging impacting health. The school have given dead line of Feb 2023 to submitted my study permit and join class room. How can I fast track this situation, I have paid more that half of my tuition and have not touch my account balance declare because of no visa yet. Please any advice will be helpful for me. Congratulations to those who have gotten PPR.

If you can, try and mail an MP in the area where your school is located and explain the situation.
I have someone who submitted on May 11th, their medicals wasn’t even uploaded even after raising several webforms and emails. It wasn’t until an MP called that they picked up the file to work on. Infact they said he failed eligibility and then they changed it again after the mp spoke with them. He just got his ppr in December. He too had already started classes.

Hi Bullstriker,
Thank you so much for your kind response on my previous post.
Honestly it’s always a difficult thing when it comes to making some decisions.
Pls I will like to explore few ideas and consequential effects of “NOT DEFERRING” my admission within the deadline required to defer. What could be the risk or possibly challenges?
Pls Remember, I have a funding offer which started that “funding may no longer be possible if I could not resume all aspects of my admission by the admission start date” however, “if I could not resume due to COVID or other travel restrictions, funding will be limited to tuition and other fees”
Thank you again for your kindness and expected response.

Hi Kensmoney,

The information you seek for visa application requirements and processes are on IRCC website and also on page 1 of this thread. Take your time to go through and then ask specific questions thereafter.

You could also Google specific questions like the one you asked Canadian universities/colleges offering software engineering and Google will list them out for you. Thereafter confirm the school is a DLI on IRCC website.

POF for visa application is not cast in stone but the minimum requirement for individuals/families can be Found on IRCC.

You will need to put in some work/effort if you want to do this yourself.

Good luck.
