Ethiopia... One of the places mentioned in the Bible that first received the gospel. If a man can read the Book of Isaiah, and by reading alone, developed such a great passion to know who the Prophet was talking about, how much more we that have the opportunity, both to read and hear the interpretations of the Bible.

Read the Bible.
Understand the Bible.
Digest the Bible.
Live the Bible.

Happy Sunday.

Where in the bible?

January 7th, 2023 is being celebrated as Christmas Day in Ethiopia and by the Orthodox Churches.

#MerryChristmas It's no news that Ethiopia has a different Calendar from the rest of the world.

So Today we wish Ethiopians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New year.

NB: #Ethiopia is still in the year 2015
Note Also That: The Orthodox Church continue to use the Julian Calendar.

Adoption of Christianity by white for colonisation purposes led to bible alterations (editions) which result in confusion within the Christian faith

it called Netela (Amharic: ነጠላ) is handmade scarf-like two-layered cloth made of cotton worn by Ethiopian and Eritrean women. The netela is a well known and commonly worn garment in both countries. The male equivalent is known as the kuta.[1] It is very thin and delicate, with the texture of gauze. The netela has only two layers and is quite large, measuring about 63 x 102 inches.[1] It is white with colorful intricately woven borders called ṭibébé (ጢቤቤ). The tibebe is between 1 and 2 inches at each end, with two variations: one composed of only one color, and the other of multiple colors and patterns.

The netela can be worn in different ways. For general wear, When going to church, the two layers of the netela are opened, and the border is folded over both shoulders instead of just the right shoulder. The netela covers the back and shoulders. When the border is worn around the face or shoulders, it is a sign of mourning, but in moments of leisure the border goes over the left shoulder.[1] hijab is worn for modesty and cover up and oppression toward women rights
Capping trash. Has any Muslim woman come to complaining that she’s being forced to wear the hijab

Repeating same question you asked on Oct 16, 2021

https://www.nairaland.com/6803261/what-actual-date-prophet-muhammads#106780387

The Bible offers few clues on the birth of Jesus Christ. Celebrations of Jesus’ Nativity are not mentioned in the Gospels or Acts; the date is not given, not even the time of year. The Biblical reference to shepherds tending their flocks at night when they hear the news of Jesus’ birth ( Luke 2 : 8 ) might suggest the spring lambing season; in the cold month of December, on the other hand, sheep might well have been pen.

This stands in sharp contrast to the very early traditions surrounding Jesus’ last days. Each of the Four Gospels provides detailed information about the time of Jesus’ death. According to John, Jesus is crucified just as the Passover lambs are being sacrificed. This would have occurred on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Nisan, just before the Jewish holiday began at sundown (considered the beginning of the 15th day because in the Hebrew calendar, days begin at sundown). In Matthew, Mark and Luke, however, the Last Supper is held after sundown, on the beginning of the 15th. Jesus is crucified the next morning—still, the 15th.

There is another way to account for the origins of Christmas on December 25: Strange as it may seem, the key to dating Jesus’ birth may lie in the dating of Jesus’ death at Passover.

Around 200 C.E. Tertullian of Carthage reported the calculation that the 14th of Nisan (the day of the crucifixion according to the Gospel of John) in the year Jesus died was equivalent to March 25 in the Roman (solar) calendar.9 March 25 is, of course, nine months before December 25; it was later recognized as the Feast of the Annunciation—the commemoration of Jesus’ conception. Thus, Jesus was believed to have been conceived and crucified on the same day of the year. Exactly nine months later, Jesus was born, on December 25.

This is how New year arose;

since you agreed with me that your prophet Muhammad was not circumcised no how you will know that a Circumcision is after EIGHT DAYS.. From December 25th to January 1st is how many days??

Luke 2:21

And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.

Oya try dey rest. you begin quote bible, Angel did this and that before he was conceived. no be wetin dey tell you you believe.

Non Christians always want to know about Christianity like they seem to feel they may loose heaven if they don't know it.

In Canada, people do not talk abt religion like the way u all talk abt it in Nigeria. Focus, follow Ur faith and keep moving.

See eh. It wasn't written down anywhere that he was born on that day. He never said his birthday was on dec 25. Christians just decided to infuse that aspect into their doctrine which to me is not proper.

Skankamola:

You should be more worried about why your prophet was hallucinating to the extent he even gave you "some satanic verses".

Satanic verses

Deuteronomy 21:18-21
18 If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, 19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. 20 They shall say to the elders, “This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.” 21 Then all the men of his town are to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.

But Jesus said:
“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. Mat 5:17

So how did Jesus fulfil the verse above?
