When did you apply please?

My study permit application had Review Required about a month or so before it was approved.

RR summarily means: Hey, I'm done processing your application; but just wait a bit for a senior immigration officer to look at it and give the sign-off.

In most cases, applications designated RR end up being approved. In worst case scenario, it might change to Interview Required, and/or to Refused—which is not usually the case.

If the question is Have you applied for a Canada visa your answer should be yes because you submitted your application before you withdrew , but if the question is have you been refused a Visa application before your answer should be no because , you were never refused Visa but you withdrew your application.

If you want to explain this on your webform its not bad to avoid a situation that it will be seen you are withholding an information , you can go future to explain you answered no because you thought that an application without an decision on it was not valid but after a careful review you discovered you were wrong and hence the correction . You can also state the reason for your withdrawal then .

Hello Guys, please I need your counsel on my case. Wife left for Canada early last year, applied for VV for me in May 2022 but no response till date despite webforms raised and emails sent. Later applied for SOWP first week of Dec 2022. My challenge now is that she will be graduating this January ending but her study permit still valid till April. An immigration lawyer said she must get an NOC job before January ends that falls into the TEER 1-3 and also apply for PGWP and upload same via webform to update her application or else my application with the kids might be denied for reasons that she is graduating soon.
My questions is, how true is the above information from the immigration, secondly, @pyale I need the email address with which you contacted IRCC that they were able to reply you within a short time interval. My email is vocarehealth@gmail.com

When you said "have still not gotten any response," do you mean they didn't send you any email acknowledgement of receipt of the package? Or is it that after they acknowledged receiving the package you sent to them, there was no other update about the progress in stamping and returning your passport to you?

At any rate, you'll have to contact them to know the cause of the delay or whether or not they even received the passport.
