Does anyone have info on express passport
Heard you can get them 3 days after you start your process

Do you know the website or anything because Nigeria websites aren’t straightforward
Do it yourself so that you have ownership of everything info/process.
US Embassy does not recommend 3rd party brokers/expeditors… so you employ them at your own risk. Good luck!

if you receive 50% scholarship from your school, is it also okay to approach M POWER OR PRODIGY FINANCE to fund the remaining. The experts in the kindly make your input.
Depends. 50% of a $76k per year school still leaves you with a large amount. Something like a <$20k deficit would be more reasonable to handle with loans given that you have a plan to pay off the debt later in the future.

Don't put yourself in $100k worth of debt if you don't have a plan.

To be honest, they just want to scam you, you'll have to wait for at least 2 months to collect your passport, no let them decieve you

2 months? No nau.
Well, I don't know what happens in that Lagos Sha, because all the horrid tales emanate from there, but it's just one state amongst a whole lot of others.

If Nigerian websites are not reliable, which other g CTountry websites are you expecting to provide reliable info on how to get a Nigerian passport? Perhaps you should consider driving to the nearest immigration office?

hello everyone, kindly help a sister.

I have an interview for first week in March 2023 for B1/B2 visa. I am a teacher in a private school owned by a family member. My uncle in the US gave me an invitation to US to come learn how his children school run their curriculum and come back to Nigeria to implement that system in the school where I currently teach. My plan is to travel during the holiday and come back to Nigeria before resumption.

What are the likely questions to expect from the Visa Officer during the interview?

Thank you for your help.

Post this on the US visa thread.

Lagosians think they’re the only state in Nigeria lool
States like Niger have a 2 weeks wait time, in fact my little sister got hers in Abuja in 3 weeks but we had to fast track using “you know how”

It depends on how much you borrow and what your financial situation will be after graduation when you’ll be obligated to repay.
are international students eligible to the loans too?

Do you know the website or anything because Nigeria websites aren’t straightforward

It all depends on the availability of the booklet and getting a close capture date.
Best to go to a nearby State that is not populated like Lagos.

PS: Everything can be done online.

hello plz I'm trying to apply for a scholarship program (Msc) in the U.S I was asked to submit recent bank statement
My question now is how much is advisable to be in the account, like the minimum that looks fit
Plz note I'm not asked to provide proof of funds, it was just stated as mentioned above

And i was also asked if there is any finance from home country which I selected NO, I hope that's good enough

Thanks

Even Asaba right now, does a one month timeline, without fast track. Mine was two weeks in Enugu and six days for the kids in Awka (both fast tracked). The Bayelsa experience of my neighbours will even make people concave, if they hear the timeline. Soo I smile when people say scam here and scam there. But yeah, everyone should be deligent enough to find out things for themselves at the immigration offices. Far as I know, some scams can see people waiting for years too, to secure a capture appointment.

Please, who is a better candidate to use as sponsor? Brother or Husband? Brother is in US and receives dollars as may appeal to a VO, but husby is a political figure in Nigeria. Both have the required amount to cover tuition.

Asking for a friend.

There are options available once you’re in the US and enrolled in school.
