My GTBank's Dollar card didn't work.

You can use Zenith or Stanbic. Those are the two I am sure of.(It must be in USD)

I was at my bank yesterday to lay the same complaint and it was revealed tht all bank crds no lonher work for online transactions, whether verve or visa. They said you now need a dollar card to transact online. New CBN policy.

Who has that time to walk into a bank or call them and ask why their cards are not working? Nigeria is already complicated so there's no need to stress me. Any bank that give me an issue, I transfer my funds to another one. Chipper is fast but their rate is closer to #800 to $1.

Well, I have a DOM account with them already so I was only given a debit card application form.

My younger brother doesn't bank with them but needed a similar card. He was told to open a DOM account first. He gave them his ID, Passport and 2 referees. My wife and I referenced him.

You need to deposit $20. The issuance fee is $10 I think.

But it's annoying having to buy USD at 740 outside honestly. It's better than being stranded anyway.

From some comments on this thread it seems that UBA dollar card is working, luckily I have UBA $$ card already. Honestly don't see the point ofhaving $$ account with a bank that will not allow transactions with a Dollar card.

this useless country and their policies...
In AliExpress, all countries are buying from them via their bank card, but Nigeria blocked all theirs and they are happy, e no go better for our leaders
