I would think it has to do with injury but I need to confirm from a first hand source. His case is worrying.

Dude your talking a load of codswallop and balderdash.

KC has been largely poor at Liecester City from day one after 30 games in one season he scored one goal, that's deplorable.

After 6 seasons he has been poor he had one good season 2020/21 and he did remarkable well he scored 12 goals in the EPL.

Last season he was poor this season he is even poorer 1 goal in 14 even if you're get only 20 minuted in each game he should still score more than one goal.

Ademola Lookman was in Liecester in 2021 and as a winger he scored 6 goals and KC scored 4 as a striker with the same number of games.

Ademola leaves Leicester goes to a less competitive league and smaller club in Seria A and is now 2nd highest goal scorer in the league. But nobody calls him clinical finisher top marksman, etc.

You are playing the victim, Yatay Toure didn't fit into Peps philosophy.

It' was so hard for Drogba, Kole Toure, Yakubu, Yobo, Adebayor, Kanu, Okocha. If we look at recent times then Aubameyang 33, Mane30, Salah 30, Partey 29, Koulibally 31, Mahrez 31, etc have two heads and six eyes abe❓. Your talking nonsense I'm sorry but it's true.

Always looking for dark excuses and blame mentality, l am a victim mindset.

You started by attack, which shows you are more concentrated on attacking the messenger than the message.

You followed by trying to lie to yourself that sub time is equal to full starts. Which shows you are not truthful to yourself.

A player winning the EPL player of the month due to a run of games that came from injuries of teammates and also helping the team win a title deserves a healthy run of games. Iheanacho not getting games is out of bias.

You can lie to yourself about it but you are not deceiving a whole lot of us.

Finito.

The "Lookman-to-Atalanta" Secret: Lee Congerton 😎

People actually think Atalanta just went in for Lookman because he was good. Nope. Gasperini didn't even know him that much.

Atalanta went in for Lookman on the back of the recommendation of their Head of Senior recruitment at Atalanta, Lee Congerton. Gasperini and the other decision makers at Atalanta had trust in Congerton's eye for ballers and immediately went in for Lookman based on that trust.

But here is the real question... Why was Congerton so sure about Lookman?

Well, here is your answer... Lee Congerton was Head of Recruitment at Leicester City since May 2019 and closely observed Lookman when the lad was on loan at Leicester for the 21/22 season.

Lee Congerton stayed in the Leicester Chief Scout/Head of Senior Recruitment Job until March 6, 2022.

He joined Atalanta on March 7, 2022 as their new Head of Senior recruitment/Chief Scout and occupies the role till today.

This was exactly how Time and Opportunity aligned to take Lookman to Italy when Leicester weren't willing to take a chance on him permanently and with RB Leipzig not ready to give him more chances.

🟢Here are Gasperini's words in the Post Match conference after the Juventus game on Lee Congerton's connection🤝🏽 to Lookman...

“This new director, he's responsible for scouting, Lee Congerton spotted these players, he knew him [Lookman] because they were together at Leicester City,” said Gasperini 🗣

Conclusion:✍️

And that, ladies and Gentlemen is how we have arrived at Lookman tearing things up in Italy. One man's eyes saw what others didn't. And same man was positioned in the right place and at the right time to bring Lookman another opportunity to shine.

What is a lie an untruth.

Worst liars the ones that lie to themselves and walk in self deception.

Regards to the bold , You earn the Right to play it's not an Entitlement.

When You come on as Sub and Perform consistently you will move From sub to starter .

Reality is KC is poor very poor as a striker.

There is no way 10 mins can equal to 90mins. So, we know who is deceiving himself here Iheanacho earned the right for more full run of games including winning EPL player of the month which is not beans.

So look in the mirror if you want to define lying to yourself.

- Victor Osimhen
- Terem Moffi
- Ademola Lookman
- Samuel Chukwueze
- Ebere Paul Onuachu
- Josh Maja
- Chuba Akpom
- Nathan Tella
- Victor Okoh Boniface

Nigeria's most in-form Midfielders this 22/23 season, as at January 2023

- Alex Iwobi
- Kelechi Nwakali
- Alhassan Yusuf
- Raphael Onyedika Nwadike
- Oghenekaro Peter Etebo

Make of it what you will. But as things stand, this is it. Not even Ndidi makes our most inform list for midfielders, RIGHT NOW.

The real in form players are Victor Osimhen,Ademola Lookman,Terem Moffi and yes Samuel Chuckwueze of late, hope to see him doing more, these guys are doing it in top five league... I would have rated Alex Iwobi but Everton position on the log didn't do justice to his performance.Paul Onuachu still doing it in lowly rated Belgium league,so nothing much.I will not rate Josh Maja,Chuba Akpom,Nathan Tella and Kelechi Nwakali cos they are still doing it in second division.... Hmmm our midfielders, seriously we are having issues, Alhassan and Onyedika so far average, hope to see Wilfred Ndidi back in form.

First of all, if a player is not performing I STOP TALKING ABOUT them. That's football HERE and NOW.

The last time l talked about Onyedinma was over 5 seasons ago , so what's your point. With regards to Josh it's over season ago.

I don't start flogging a dead horse continuously over the past 8 years.

Please go and compare the career trajectory of Tega and Onyedinma to that of Nwakali please them tell me who you honestly think is better.

They say "Money talks, BS walks" Tega earns more than 10 a week what Nwakali earns and Onyedinma a mere 2/3 times.

Luton is in the playoffs in the Championship and although injury has plagued Onyedinma he is a key player for Luton.

Tega Onomah is a £30K+ a week bench warmer at Fulham and not playing and hardly making the bench. Simply better players than him now. He will no on loan to Rangers or Some other Championship team.

However, none of them have Ben relegated to youth football, or had thier contract terminated before the time or been publicly offloaded. There past accolades leave Nwakali in the darkness.

Here and now NWAKALI will not get on the bench of any of there current teams. None of them have the indignity of playing for a bankrupt team that pays peanuts in the relegation zone of a poor quality Segundo division bottom of the league team.

Nonetheless, I don't talk about them AT ALL fit years. Yet in REALITY they are both considerably better than Nwakali.

Who is the hypocrite here with blatant double standard ❓❓
The way you yarns sometimes ehn!!
Please is player’s wages translate to how good a player is? If yes! Then most players playing their trade in Saudi Arabia are better than many players in Europe? Oga it is not only about how much you earn.

There is nothing like "Real" In-form players here. It is either you are in form and have been performing consistently since the beginning of the season till now OR you aren't and haven't.

Those players listed meet every criteria both via eye test and stats including Alhassan who is recovering from a knock right now.

JWP is one of the PL's top performing midfielders this season but his team is last on the table. Would that Cancel the fact that he is in form? This is in reference to your take on Iwobi because of Everton's place on the table.

But like I already said... Make of it what you will but Facts are Facts. I got no time to argue something I have taken time, overtime, to analyse.

One thing i hate hearing in our sport circles is this foolish statement

Let him/her wait for their time. It will come.

This line is used for the teenage ballers, M/F, for intro to senior team mostly. It is a clownish statement that no sensible sport identity in Nigeria should be using in anything, anywhere, at anytime

Irony is that time gangan, where is it that you delay them cos of some stupid belief?

A teenager with super talent to take on the big stage already should suddenly "protected" from the big stage cos "stage is too big for them" or whatever.

Very nonsense talk to me cos the Europeans don't even say it. If they say it at all, there is a high dedication and investment ongoing behind the scenes for development to match the big stage, at club or at country.

What do these coaches even add to players like that aside cones and stretching? I discovered its the ones that are technically inept that say that statement the most. Aspa seniority in the team, forgetting that one of the ways to make senior players step up regardless of experience, is to watch their backs even if they are in the form of their lives. It's even supposed to inspire the younger ones when they realize they are in competition with the seniormen. But No!!

Suddenly 30 clocks and a long unfortunate list of injuries and one feels less like a footballer that left a mark cos they were denied early starts.

A 22yo FW in GWG supposed to have the confidence and self believe of dem Obagoal, Emenike, Osaze(females too) at present.

I can imagine telling Bukayo Saka and Bellingham, Rashford, that they should wait for their time. Yeah the dynamics are different but see them already on double figures for country.

When will this mentality be buried with the past?

Rumor has it that Genk striker and Nigerian international Paul Onuachu hv agreed personal terms with German bundesliga side and Europa league champions Eintracht Frankfurt for a move this winter window

Reported fee is 15m euros

Also they are reports that French ligue 1 side lorient hv accept a fee of 24m euros from Epl side Westham for Terem Moffi. The player wasn’t listed in lorient’s match day squad on Saturday which implies that a move is imminent

This is an 18year old Wayne Rooney😳😳. This is 2023 and it amazes me how some dude in here still think they can tell someone's age by looks. If Rooney were to be a Nigerian you would have been reading bogus shit on the internet of how he has a 21 year old son and how he was classmate to someone who is currently 35year old.
The point is this: is there a culture of age cheating in England? No. So practically how that plays out is that even if you see a 30 year old looking player in England say he's 19, You will believe him because the record is captured at birth and the opportunity for alteration is almost zero.

But what is our situation? It is an endemic national culture for people to engage in falsifying their age. And in football the incentive is greater because of financial rewards that come with the game.

So the default position of doubting player's ages in Nigeria is justified. Don't blame the doubters, blame the culture.

Gianlugi Donnarunma at 18 was fully bearded and very mature looking... I had to Google him well first time I watched him play...

People keep pretending that they haven't seen real life situations where somebody would look older or younger than his age..
It is an error to think this way as far as the issue of age is concerned. Is there a culture of age cheating in Europe? A person will even be foolish to doubt a person's age in Europe because records are kept at birth.

In Nigeria, I'd rather doubt a player's age than willy nilly believe his age. The difference is culture. Not about whether a particular player is truly this age or that age.

'One of them, a prophet of their own, said, 'Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.' - Titus 1 v 2.

That's Paul referencing what is a cultural judgment about the cretans. Does that mean all Cretans are liars? No. But it means that mendacity is a cultural norm and they have no regards for truth.

In the same vein we have a culture of age cheating. It's in all aspects of our national life. So I wonder why this self righteous angst whenever the doubters raise their voices.

I don't even like engaging people on this age argument thing because they are often so biased against Nigerian players especially.
Human beings do not think and make judgments without context. As a person you observe trends and make deductions that guide your judgment. When I was in Zaria for example, every Friday everybody used to be on alert. Why? Because there's a culture of religious violence that dates back many years before many of us got to Zaria. Interestingly in the five years I spent there, we only experienced religious crisis just once. But we were not wrong to take that mental attitude to the place. Or would you say that we were biased against Zaria? I don't think so. Rather you'd say we did well to apply common sense judgment to what we had heard.

It's the same thing with age cheating. It's not about this player or that player. What is our culture? What has been our trend? Unless we deny that it is not something we do. But if we admit that it is a culture here, I see no reason for anyone to get riled when doubters express their doubts.

In the first place, it's just doubt but it is a referendum on our culture. Let us fight the culture and not berate those who doubt the authenticity of many of our players' ages

age cheating hv been a norm not only in Nigeria but Africa as a whole and South America to an extend

Though it has reduced drastically in the last 10-15 years unlike before where grown men were recruited to the u17 and u20 teams
