78k cad is enough I guess he did not submit tax documents plus and also if there is low inflow after the 27m have been deposited

Documentation to back up the inflow is key. If salary put pay slips and appointment/promotion letters . If business put business registration documents and other related documents including invoices. If property sale put all transactions documents etc.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Uzorsammy(m): 11:48am On Jan 24, 2023
You can't put 22m in ur wife account since you are self employed and going together. Did you present tax certificate? Was there huge inflow after depositing 27m? If there was not it a huge red flag .together

Bobomaigida:

The course is a good choice considering your past experience, in your SOP you have to emphasize on the business aspect of the course, ie that the course will help you gain knowledge on the business behind Television and Film especially with the growth in our Local film industry, how you want to position yourself as one of the professionals that will drive the business end of the movie and television industry in Nigeria and Africa, throw in some lines about Nollywood being the fastest growing movie industry and the market acdeptance it is getting now and how your education in Canada will equip you to cash in on the growth.

@Bobomaigida, you are a blessing, God will continue to strengthen you, what ever you lay your hands upon shall prosper in Jesus name.

Thank you so very much for answering all my questions
And to all Guru answering everyone here, God bless you.

No. If you did your biometrics in Abuja and you are submitting to VFS Abuja, you do not need to pay transmission fee. You will only be paying courier fee to DHL.

Hello guys, this is urgent. I had my biometrics in Abuja and I’m sending my passport to Abuja via dhl, do I still need to pay transmission fee?

You have to show strong ties sha and if you have less than a year to ur visa that will make it more daunting. Just show proof of why you will return back to the UK collect letter from you school stating letter of consent o.
MelaninGemstone:
Hey guys, I’m currently a student in the UK and I want to attend a conference related to my course in June. It will be holding in Ontario

If I start my visa application now, is there a possibility that my visa comes out by end of May ? To enable me attend the conference

Hello everyone,

Please i want to ask for advice. Especially from those who may have gone through a similar situation.

I did my upfront medicals December 22nd, even before getting an admission because I heard Canada visa processing takes time. On that same day before leaving IOM, they found something off with my xray scan and so I was asked to do a 3 day consecutive sputum test, which would take 9 weeks for the results to be ready. However, about a week after I did the test, I was called back to IOM because they found traces of tb in my test and was told I have to do a 6-month treatment before I can be cleared.

It’s been about two weeks since I started the treatment and I just got admission to a school I applied for, which is starting this fall (september). What I want to ask is, should I wait until the 6 months is over (which should be mid july) when my medicals have changed to passed before applying for my visa? Or I should apply now regardless?

I know this visa process can take long, so i’m worried that if I wait till then there won’t be enough time and I’ll have to defer to January 2024. If i should apply now, can my visa be denied because of the 6 months hold on my medicals? Or it won’t be problem? Cause I’m hoping if I should apply now, by the time the medicals would be passed, most of the visa application review would have been done, and a decision on the application wouldn’t take long.

I am just confused now, especially as I have 30 days to pay my tuition deposit to reserve my admission.

Please I need help, thank you.

Since you are both going together let the money be in ur account ur wife should proof she is working an have her account submitted also with money in it. Get a tax certificate
subzheero:
But Can l transferred the amount in her account back to my account because at the moment my balance doesn't carry a huge balance like that
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by bullstriker: 12:55pm On Jan 24, 2023
Your suggestions are not bad as long as you provide a detailed analysis of the cost of education and accessible funds. However, I would approach it differently. I recommend you reapply as a co-sponsor unless you have a personal reason for such a decision. Don’t transfer additional funds to her; use the available funds in your account to sponsor and highlight the transfers made from your account to her. In your SoP, bold and underline vital points regarding this finance issue.

Your application mentioned that the spouse is a self-sponsor and has 22M. This amount is insufficient for a self-sponsor with a family size of 4 and a program duration of 2 yrs. I know you submitted your bank statement of 5M (I haven’t done the math to check if 27M is sufficient), but did you indicate you are a co-sponsor supported with an affidavit or letter sponsorship? Or you just submitted a bank statement of 5M without an explanation? Also, why did you choose to transfer the bulk of the funds to her when you are an eligible sponsor or co-sponsor - sufficient funds, a family member, assets and a verifiable source of income? I know you want to apply with her, but it is acceptable to be a sponsor and still be in the application. A SOWP does not restrict you to working in Canada; a holder can choose to stay in Nigeria and visit his family, but you have to state your plan.

You can reapply right away if you know how to go about it. Otherwise, wait for the GCMS note. The CBSA version takes 30 days or less.
subzheero:
Thanks really appreciate. She has 22m in her personal account while mine is 5m.Am thinking of transferring 8m to her so her total balance will be 30m plus ,l will also do a gift deed as regards that.Again,l will submit form A to balance up the first year tuition fee but l will only attach the form A evidence with the application so the bank can debit anytime. Also, providing a strong SOP.

Please will this work out please l need your input and suggestions waiting for GCMS might take some months l want to refire ASAP .May intake

Please help a brother

IRCC will not deny your application because of a pending medical result. However, the VO might not pick up your application immediately after your result, so in the end, this can lead to even more delay.
It is good that you did an upfront. So, I suggest you defer to January and save yourself unnecessary stress unless you have a personal reason for insisting on a September start date.

Your new passport will also carry your previous passport number.

Johnbravo1994:
It's the same passport number you will still be used except if you want to modify the date of birth or name on your old passport.
Besides what your agent is telling you is a good one, apply for a visa and apply a passport as well before they'll approve your visa and request your passport new passport will be ready.
If you have a sure link and huge money to do a new passport within 2 weeks I suggest that you should do it ASAP before applying for a visa.
I wish you the best of luck!!!

Nobody knows if submitting by that time will be early or late.
You don't know when your application will be reviewed, so apply as soon as possible.

People get their medicals done ahead of time so they can submit all of the requisite paperwork at once, rather than waiting for IRCC to request them.
Because medicals are a requirement, you can opt to do them before or after they are requested.
