I saw in a news Owen Goodman of crystal palace didn't join U20 in camp because he was told to pay his own flight but how come we've other 3 Foreign born players in camp

Is it the duty of the national team to pay players flight or he just used us for attention like others after rocking Naija jersey?🤔🤔

I think I read somewhere that the foreign players were to fly in themselves and get refunds in Nigeria. Maybe Owen was not interested in that and wanted the country to do all that for him.

imagine you in America holidaying then you meet police who decided to arrest you before conducting any investigation just because in the previous month they’ve convicted 10 Nigerians for fraud

And the minute you give them your name in 5 seconds they have all your financial and personal details and it's good afternoon sir, have a nice day.

Data is digital with multi faceted corroboration both birth and anything else.

However, if you have outstanding warrants, a person of interest on account of criminal behaviour suspected and or past convictions. Then it may be please can we have a few questions ❓❓

I am not concerned with the Italians. That's not my biz. My concern is the comparison with my country. People get harassed in major cities of the world from India to China to France to UK to United States to Ghana, Kenya etc. Why specifically associate such behavior to Nigeria? That's my issh with ur statement. The Italians can fvck off for all I care, just do not bring my country to the subject matter! Simple!

Growing up in Benue state I dare say there's no specie of mango I don't know including the ones that don't turn green. In fact I typed that phenomenon as my last sentence but deleted it.

Well then, the point still remains that generally mangoes turn red or change color when they are ripe.

I remember year's ago going to Gboko through some village routes it was dark . And I needed to take a leak so I parked under a tree.

I got back in next minute I thought I was under serious attack I nearly had a seizure.

Well very funny it was just multiple mangoes dropping from the mango trees on to the roof of my car.

I lived in Italy for 2 years 2015/16-17 and sure I suffered several issues that would never happen in the UK.

My landlady kept 3 quarters of my deposit cira €2200 because she said they had to repaint the house after I moved out. But, they didn't tell me that beforehand, it was not until I had arrived back in London they mentioned it. They knew I was travelling back home on the same day I was moving out so couldn't do anything about it.

A random man stole my my partners purse in Florence. She sort of figured he had done something because he came too close to her whilst walking past us in the opposite direction and when she checked it was gone. I confronted the man and after some pushing and shoving I got the purse back. Good thing I'm physically bigger than maybe 90% of the population anywhere I go grin

In Naples a taxi driver at the train station covered the taxi meter with his hat and kept it running even before I boarded. By the time I got in the taxi it was already reading over 10 euro and we hadn't even left. As he was helping put stuff in the boot I just thought to lift his hat and that's how I realised. shocked again confronted him and asked to restart the meter or I jump out of his taxi. Simple. The list of atrocities are endless!

Italians are nice people but, if you don't have your wits about you they will soon find out and they will, like Nigerians pounce on you!

That was the people.

I had gone to a youth football tournament with all the top clubs in Europe U15.

If you think Naija officiating is bad well this was shambolic and blatantly biased, I mean over the top.

We had players being wrestled to the ground and the referee saying nothing our boys were getting kicked from pillar to post. And winning the game was not a priority it was praying nobody would get seriously injured.

You cap too much

Udinese will be struggling at the championship ,yen yen yen

You are talking emotively.

Please let's take a team you know well like Watford now tell me the players from Udinese that will get into the team please.

That should be simple for you.

For starters none of the forward players in Udinese will smell Watford bench. Including waste M Success.

You do the appraisal without prejudice and tell me how Udinese will dominate in the Championship.

I know he was at Dakkada prior to his move to Remo Stars. That's credit to the Remo Scouting dept. Shows they aren't just looking to their Academy system but also scanning rival teams for some of the finest young talents around.

Point is Remo Stars just seem to be the place to be for some of the best young talents in the country right now.

Their Beyond Limits FA especially is stacked with some of the best U-18/U-19 talents in the country.

But every NPFL club scans rival teams na, especially when they go into the continent. Remo are trying but what they are doing isn't new.

What about Rodrigo De Paul who just won a world cup with Messi?

Let's be objective and not emotive.

Rodrigo is a very good player, after 5 years at Udinese he made the step up to Athletico Madrid. He had a very good world cup.

The rest of the midfield for Udinese, tell me one who is better than World cup finalist from Croatia M. Orsic, Dejenepo, and of course free kick specialist Ward Prouse. Nobody from Udinese will get into Southampton apart from Rodrigo.

The defence of Salisu, Caleta -Car, Walker- Peters is much better than the Udinese defence.

I will not talk about the forward players as you know that Success, the pivotal player for Udinese will not get on to Southampton bench.

So do you think Udinese is better than Southampton.

Let's drop to the Championship, it is very easy to make comparison with Watford but that's too easy. Watford is much much better.

I will like yoi to compare Udinese with QPR man to man and tell me what you think .

I initially felt that at least three players from Udinese would get into Southampton but I was being overly generous. I can only see one Rodrigo.

I refer specifically to young talents/players. Ofcos everyone is scanning but here I refer to young players focus.

Scanning Quality young players outside your Youth structure while also bringing through young talents through your structure is what I am referring to. That's the approach I refer to. Remo is doing that well.

To be fair, pre WC he started all 6 UCL games for Celtic and he also started 10 of his 11 league appearances for Celtic.

The bulk of his bench roles came post WC and that is what informs his change of clubs.

Non-Nigerian related...but we spoke on Barca's financial situation last summer.
Barca to sell Barca TV to generate funds

Looks like the next round of economic levers are about to be pulled. 🤔

Warming bench does not mean a player is not good. Sometimes, the coach has a preference of another over him.

What particularly keeps me in "watch mode" over him are his Physical frame and his two-footedness (Ambipedality) in possession and ball circulation. Time will tell on him.

(Photo) Official : Ex-Arsenal Winger Tella & Obafemi Sign Professional Contracts With Southampton

Former Arsenal schoolboy Nathan Tella has been rewarded for his imperious display for the youth team of Southampton, with the Premier League club offering the winger his first professional contract.
Tella, 17, joined Southampton in March following a successful trial and will be remembered by the Saints faithful in 2017 after winning the Sure Southampton FC Goal of the Month award for May.

A delighted Tella posted on social media : ''Happy to have signed my first professional contract with Southampton FC! God is great''.

Another Nigerian talent Michael Obafemi has also appended his signature to his first professional contract with Southampton.

The 16-year-old, who has born in Ireland, scored four goals for the U18 squad last season, and will be hoping to make his league debut for the U23s in the new season.

Obafemi was a member of the Soaring Eaglets squad that lost to the Nigeria U17s in a friendly in Abuja back in 2015, and was the most outstanding player for the United Kingdom based team despite being the youngest and smallest in size.
