Most Nigerians are just good at celebrating mediocrity. Our useless set of rulers always travel to abroad and yet cannot replicate the 21st century masterpiece of flyovers they see in advanced countries.

Some Nairalanders are even mentioning Wike's 19th century linear overhead bridges as a big feat.

Lack of exposure will make one marvel at the mediocrity of our rulers. Indeed Nigerians have a very low expectations from our pathetic rulers.

wetin we deltans dey see eh. We never get government. That 3rd rate single bridge okowa use 2 yrs do at Kika junction, asaba, we no hear word. Wike did 4 of it at same time frame of 4 months.... From October 2021-march 2022, with no noise. NTA, Asaba, The Pointer newspaper, and delta tv na to praise okowa. NTA and delta TV own dey very annoying pass. Them go open only for two hours daily. One hr 50 minutes na to praise okowa with with arranged interview and praises from people in one riverine community.the remaining 10 minutes na to relay Atalanta 1996 matches. Very irritating

I love your submission. Delta state received the highest allocation with nothing to show for it yet, he just borrowed 150billion naira for election. With huge allocation Bayelsa has and just 8 local government, nothing to show. The best performing governors in Nigeria today are Wike, El Rufai, Sanwoolu, Zulum, Ben Ayade etc.

I was discussing with a Northerner, a Christian from Kaduna one day, he told me that there are actually a lot of places in Kaduna and kano that will make you feel like you were in dubai (his words), that fear won't allow you litter some places in both states. He continued, that no state in the SS/SE/SW, except lagos can ever match the developmental strides these two Northern states have achieved. It is quite unfortunate for the South East truly, the only governor in the SE that tried is Dave umahi. The rest, especially that Enugu man and Okezie are both a mistake that should never have occured.

Creating and building proper road access and other basic amenities is the primary objective of sensible leaders ....
