Trapnews: Okay, we are tired of south west and north that have ruled this country for decades yet, we dont even have 24/7 electricity, if u have health crises, u are dead already! No need giving them back the power, we have tried the both regions over and over again and look at the country that they gave us after 60 years! They gave us a country like this! |

Just yesterday, I was lamenting about this trucks falling on vehicles or buses n ending lives. I wondered why the force men will not checkmate them, or force them to at least tie the container to the truck carrying them in case of necessities. Just 24 hours ago!!! God pls rest the souls of the departed. Very very sad avoidable deaths. If only we have functional police force n not these rogues on uniform, this trucks should be plying at night. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I think this is the best time the Government need to take bold steps on containers in lagos. The same way okada was banned on major street. Containers too need to be restricted at certain hours on the road. Many of those trailers need to be check for road worthiness. thisweekng: |

gdbelt:This is a lie. How many other countries have you been that are permitting truck drivers only at night. There are design flaws with the Ojuelegba bridge. It's like a yearly occurrence now. When will Lagos state govt do something about this? Perhaps trucks shouldn't be permitted on the bridge? |
Re: Container Falls On A Fully Loaded Bus At Ojuelegba Bridge, Lagos by Nyanabo(m): 4:55pm On Jan 29, 2023 |
The thing with Nigerian truckers is that they don't use harness belts to secure this containers, the FRSC and the police would see and turn a Inc eye after collecting something from the driver. Most times you see the containers are not even properly placed well on the truck. It's sad really. Over 18 people dead just like that. |
